Nicole had almost entered the school when she heard someone trying to get her attention. She looked over and the first thing she saw was the camera. She instinctively knew who it belonged to and she gave a mental sigh. It was too early to be dealing with this but she put on a smile and answered Eliās question.ā Loving.ā Nicole answered, playing the part of the heartbroken girlfriend. She had plenty of practice over the last few months.ā I hope you arenāt serious about pushing people down the stairs. Especially on camera.ā

Nicole glanced down at the paper and chuckled at how simple this prank was.

Definitely not me, I would never!ā he assured, shaking his head firmly. His shoulders tense up as the girl gently places her hand on them. Physical affection isnāt some heās used to receiving from his classmates, so the gesture just confuses him.Ā āIā¦ guess so?ā he frowned.Ā āI donāt know how am I supposed to do that, though. Not worry about what other think, I mean.ā

It was very amusing to Nicole to see Wesley try to convince her that he didnāt have anything to do with his death, since she was pretty sure that Wesley didnāt have the backbone to do something like that, but she held her amusement in. She noticed his tense shoulders and quickly moved her hand away.ā Iām so sorry. I didnāt know that you didnāt like to be touched.ā She said, mortified, putting her hand in her pocket.Ā ā I know itās hard not worrying about what other people think, trust me I went through that as well, but other peopleās opinions shouldnāt matter to you. They donāt have the right to judge you for something you didnāt do.ā Nicole told him.

Nicole looked over, surprised that someone was talking to her. Better yet, it was one of those Nietzsche losers. She had honestly thought that she wouldnāt have to deal with them until school started but she was wrong. It didnāt matter anyway, she could play nice. She put on a sympathetic face and got closer to him.ā Whoever thinks that you had something to do with Dante is an idiot. Iām sure you wouldnāt hurt a fly. You shouldnāt worry so much about what other people think of you Wesley.ā She said soothingly, putting her hand on his shoulder to comfort him.Ā

Fun fact I was initially going to make her a Windsor but it was taken and I had to do a completely change and I feel like it turned out better than I thought. Nicoleās dad is the state senator and has been since she was a child. Whenever they would have together, her dad would teach her certain things, like how to get people on your side and how to play them to get what you want. However Nicole wanted to make friends on her merit without resorting to tactics like that. But then she entered middle school and kids were cruel. They made fun of her weight and nobody wanted to be friends with someone who was the main target of bullying so she was a loner all through middle school.Ā
The summer before high school, Nicole decided to change. She decided to listen to her politician father and use his advice to gain power. She refused to feel powerless ever again and when she entered high school, she started her plan. Nicole was nice to everyone and most people would agree that she actually cared, but it was an act on her part. She would manipulate people for her own gain, and they wouldnāt even notice. Eventually, she moved up the social ladder enough that she wasnāt being bothered by the Windsors and she was content.
That all changed when she met Dante right before junior year at a party. Somehow they started talking and it was like an instant connection. They talked all night and they told each other things that they normally wouldnāt have told other people but something about that night made them confide in each other. He realized that she wasnāt the nice person she potrayed herself to be and that they were pretty similiar in their goals and she realized that he was her ticket to the top. They got together much to everyone else surprise but everyone assumed that Nicole would finally be the one to tone down his behavior and finally get him to change. From an outsiderās persepective, that was exactly what Nicole was doing, she was helping him be a better person slowly and if he got to be too much, she was the one to apololgize for his behavior. But in reality, she encouraged his worse behavior and was the devil on his shoulder. After he died, she was devastated. It remains a question if sheās more devastated in his death or the fact she might lose her spot at the top.
Fun fact: when it was revealed that Dante was cheating on her, she wasnāt surprised at all. In fact, she was disappointed in him for getting caught.Ā
