Husk is out here surviving two warnings from Alasto r if you take this and the one in episode 5. Honestly though, how is Husk even still alive? First of, he is a former Overlord and Alastor was/is in the habit and killing those and, more important, he seems to know way too much about Alastor than he should. Why has Alastor not killed him yet?
This aside, I find it quite fascinating that you chose to show Husk not only playing saxophone but still having a suit on, maybe even with a bit of yellow on it as well?
I also love that it actually looks like Alastor is having fun while Husk maybe likes to play the saxophone but is a lot more aggressive about it. It looks like maybe one of their 'earlier' stages where Husk is more of some sort of friend than owned soul.
But I am also pretty sure that after this they never had a night where they both drank together. Maybe nights where Alastor got Husk drunk but I doubt Alastor ever let himself get drunk and comfortable enough after that.
Also seems like this could be in Husks casino after-hours where it's only the two of them which would explain why Alastor ever let himself loosen up in the first place.
I really love the animatic because it really fits the overall vibe of Hazbin Hotel and I love the timing of the shattered glass.
I absolutely adore the change of music and atmosphere the second Al realizes what he has just confessed to Husk. I have read some interesting theories about that one scene in episode 7 when he makes a deal with Charlie and we can see his mouth being sewn and even in episode 1 there were hints that his smile was sewn on. With the mouth being sewn it could symbolize how Alastor is forbidden from talking about his deal or letting other people know about it. Which is also another reason why I am unsure how and why Husk is even still alive after this.
The clakning of the piano of also a very nice touch. And Husk seems just a bit shocked but also concerned.
I really love the "Do yourself a favour" shot because the aformentioned sewing is really shown there really making Alastor look terrifying but also like an overgrown voodoo doll. I think Alastor knows that perhaps it would be the smartest thing to just kill Husk right now but he does not.
Husks fear is completely understandable here because he knows that he has heard and now knows something no one is supposed to now about and Alastor looks this short of just eating him.
"Banish this night from your mind." I love how it is really threatening but he is also giving Husk a way out. Let's just pretend this never happened. And also the pointed finger remindin me of that shot from episode 8 and making the connection that Husk perhaps knows about Alastors mental breakdowns after failing as well and the pointed finger is a reminder to Husk to not forget about Alastor owning him and that Husk should keep quiet about a lot of things he knows about Al.
The background music perfectly adding to the creepy atmosphere.
"U-Understood."" Poor cat man is utterly terrified. And if you take this fananimatic as canon it would actually add to the terror he must have felt in episode 8 because Alastor had warned him before to never mention or even think about what he knows and he did it anyway in a moment of hurt pride.
"Good", combined with the little head pat. And Husk then looking away. I think considering he still has his suit there, I think he knows that whatever sort of 'friendship' was between them is now completely changed because Alastor will feel the need to near constantly remind Husk about who is the one in power here. I like to think that a couple of weeks after this, the formerly yellow bowtie got replaced with the red one.
