Wyatt is a huge nerd he's the one who knows all about the great alpha prophecy and he knows the pack is supposed to be able to lift the moonstone and probably knows a lot more about the moonstone legends which tells me he probably spends a lot of time sitting with the elders listening to them speak about traditions and prophecies and he loves learning about wolf culture and spending time with them.

ADDIE’S FIST SWINGS OUT BEFORE SHE CAN STOP IT. She feels her fist connect with skin, then fang, and when she pulls back, the skin on her knuckles is shredded. She stares at the boy with a mixture of horror and panic. It was a trick of the light – the lack of light – that tricks her into the state of panic. Tricks her to see a foe in a friend, a wolf in boy’s clothing. But that doesn’t register until long after the blow is dealt.

“WYA-” The sound of his name is cut short by the roar of pain that rises up her arm, and she grabs her hand. A string of expletives dissolves into a hiss pushed out between her teeth. Addie doubles over, stomps her feet on the ground, hops from foot to foot, anything to work out the shockwaves of pain that jolt through her body.

“JESUS. What the hell, Wyatt? You can’t just do that to someone!”

this is the sort of thing he’s grown up doing. as a werewolf something very important is to keep yourself sharp, alert. the amount of play fights that were initiated by either willa, wynter or wyatt jumping out to scare the others... but it doesn’t occur to him until there’s a fist on his face that maybe not everyone appreciates jump scares. he stumbles back a little, losing his balance from the unexpectedness of the blow. the pain is dull, not enough to truly hurt him. but addison can really punch.

“wow,” he sais, stroking his chin where she hit him. “you’re really strong  —  oh shit. are you okay? did youhurt yourself? let me see.” he reaches out for her wrist. “i’m sorry, i-i wasn’t expecting you to hit me. i thought you’d scream and it’d be funny. i’m really sorry, addison.”

dear bucky, you look really nice when you smile...  wyatt is trying his absolute best to not give away how much he wants to bury himself in a hole and die. well, maybe not die, but he’d take a very long nap. the thing is, no one was supposed to find the letter, least of all wynter. but she had. and okay, wyatt knew her intentions weren’t bad. but her and willa hadn’t shut up about wyatt’s crush since they’d read it. it’s not a crush! i just think he’s neat!

i had a lot of fun dancing with you. but somehow (wyatt is pretty sure he knows how), the letter had found its way to bucky, and bucky had found his way to wyatt. “you weren’t supposed to read that. it’s kind of private.” and i am definitely gonna kill my sister for this. “look, it means nothing, okay? it’s not like you don’t already know you have a good face.”

wyatt trusts his sister. he does, what he does not trust is the weird, glowy, magical orb that happens to be floating around. as orbs do. but he sighs, shoulder slumping. “alright... you’re the alpha. i’m just saying it looks a bit...” he follows her, as he always does, light blinding him almost immediately for a couple seconds. he feels a shift, though he can’t put his finger on what has changed until he opens his eyes again. 

“... suspicious.” he finishes his previous observation.  it’s not the forest, and it’s not seabrook high. the new, unfamiliar surroundings make wyatt drop into a defensive stance, making sure to stay close to willa. they’re stronger together, and they need to stay that way until they figure out what this place is. “willa? do you have any idea where we are?”

not to be basic but give me an au where after they start attending seabrook high wyatt develops crushes on a few guys but he’s like “yeah no this is for me to know only” and he writes them love letters but he never sends them and then willa and wynter are like this is ridiculous and give the guys the letters and wyatt is like “well i guess i gotta deal with this now” and starts fake dating one of them to get willa/wynter to stop asking him about the boys and then they fall in love for realsies. basically just give me a tatbilb au please.

wyatt’s reaction when willa says “you better be right about this” he knows the lives of his entire pack are resting on their shoulders it’s up to him and willa to protect them and save them. and he’s so desperate to find it and he’s put all his faith in this old prophecy and on addison because he needs to believe there is a way to save everyone. and when she says that he realizes that if he’s wrong he’s just wasting everyone’s time because instead of looking for the moonstone they’re here, just talking to this girl.
