Sanguis et Silentium
— Blood and Silence.
“She moves through wilted silence and cursed blossoms, where light dies and dreams root deep...”
Sanguis et Lunarum Somnia Visio
— A Bloody Vision of Moonlit Dreams.
“She is the Keeper of the Red Nightmare, guardian of the threshold where blood meets dream and moons whisper in silence.
Moonlight and memory entwine her voice, singing crimson lullabies that soften the Abyss.
Her gaze bleeds prophecy — half mercy, half ruin — echoing visions shaped beneath the hush of lunar tides.
Through her eyes, the Nightmare becomes vision; through her hands, impossible dreams are made real”
Echoes of my story, given flesh — twin Self-Portraits, as if torn from my book, concealed in the somber silence of the Realm of Nightmares.

Inside the Architect’s Heart
This illustration is devoted, perhaps, to the most dramatic moment in my book’s story...
It stands as a metaphor:
The spirit of a beloved soul, entwined in roots, dwelling in the hidden chambers of the Architect’s heart, whispering through his shadowed veins...
Pencil drawing in my sketchbook diary.
Autumn 2025.
I haven’t shared any sketches from my sketchbook diary here in a long time… I make them only rarely, but lately I’ve been visited by ideas for small, dark, surreal, metaphorical illustrations to accompany the gothic book Descent into Nightmare that I’m currently writing…
Nightmare of the Depths
“She felt the breath of something ancient, something nameless…
His body began to change. From his chest burst a knot of glowing vessels. His mantle unraveled into threads of gold, his skin cracked, and from the fissures grew crimson roots, pulsing like living veins. Amber eyes multiplied, blooming across his body until myriads of them turned their gaze upon her. The roots grew, weaving into a serpentine shape, writhing like a dragon waking within its own dream.
Then she heard, within her veins, the echo of countless voices:
We coil… we flow… we fade and sink deep into the dreams that draw us in…
She watched the creature unfold like a monstrous flower of darkness and light...”
An excerpt from my book “Descent into Nightmare”.
Pencil sketch, Autumn 2025.
This page marks the beginning of my novel’s journey — fragments born of dusk and dream, attended by ghostly illustrations brushed by AI.
Descent into Darkness
“Longing seeped in, fragile and profound at once, as if I were an autumn leaf frozen in the frost of timelessness. A familiar taste from distant dreams appeared on my tongue… now tangible — the taste of wine from the blood of time and ashes of centuries. As if on my lips were drops of stagnant blood, drunk from a silver chalice on an ancient altar.
Then I felt…
Darkness embraced me — like an elder sister welcoming the one returned after long exile.
My body sank into the gloom, as if I had plunged headfirst into a black lake and dissolved within it…
Darkness becoming a part of me, resonating with my heartbeat…
Suddenly — a flash.
A whip of white light struck my eyes. A ringing filled my ears, as if a thread had been torn from me. The thunder was not merely sound, but a fracture in the symphony of darkness, and the lightning — not a discharge, but a slap of eternity.
My gaze darkened, and it was not blindness, but — a rupture.
The ritual was interrupted.
The world fell away for a moment. It cracked, like glass, and I realized:
I am not in the darkness. I am a part of it.
The echoes of the choir and the touches vanished, leaving only the light — coarse, unfamiliar, undue. His light. The light, used to pull me from the grasp of darkness. But the Darkness remained. It remained within. Now it looks through my eyes…
In a moment, I stood in the same place — on the edge, on the porch of the house, in His embrace. But everything had changed. The light in the mansion now seemed foreign, unnatural — too warm, too bright…
I did not return then, though He thought He had pulled me from this black ocean. But I remained within it.
Part of my spirit, my past self, that old me — remained there…
In that lake now it rests, somewhere in the depths…”
On my Boosty, you can find further excerpts — echoes from the story’s darker corridors, under the tag #DescentIntoNightmare.
More pieces of the tale in Russian can be found on my Telegram — soft echoes of the world I’m writing.
"One moment, and he had felt the blade at his throat, and her cold breath close by…"
"In the air, her first breath still seemed to linger. Hoarse, trembling, with that slightly rasping voice: “Who are you?”
He remembered how he had frozen then. Not from pain, not from fear, but… from an inexplicable yet powerful feeling...
As if it were not she who had entered his house, but he who had entered her dream."
Photoshoot inspired by Descent into Nightmare — the book I’m currently writing, where even the letter-knife remembers every unwritten ending… and becomes a liminal edge between worlds, between time and between them.

Descent into Nightmare
We are a flaw in the geometry of a Dream.
She only wanted to disappear; I only wanted to bring it all to an end.
But… we are here. And… I’ve grown too attached to her.
She doesn’t belong to me — she is not my dream, not my creation, not my beloved.
She is a stranger, even to my world...
And she will remain so.
