“Mei was cast in the film and she thought that I’d be a good choice for the Brett character. She sent the script to me and my manager and I loved it. I just thought it was such an eerie, cool, and weird script. I wanted to do it immediately. We got a hold of Mark Netter, who directed the film. I met with him, had a great conversation, and knew that he was going to do an awesome job with the movie.”

I thought Nightmare Code was a smart script, I wasn’t familiar with the programming world and I learned some interesting things while reading the film. I’ve had a strange career as an actor at times because I’ve turned down roles that were more visible and gone and done roles that I felt stretched me as an actor or defied cliché in some form. Nightmare Code was one of those working experiences.
