*Multiple eyes formed around you and the crows' red eyes stared at you with contempt*

"I gave you the power and now you deny your destiny?"

She avoids looking at the eyes, and the crows.

That’s… not my destiny. I was in a bad place, I could agree to anything.

Her voice sounds slightly more confident.

From now on- I choose my own destiny.

*Silence followed as the crows and eyes looked at you. After staring for a while, they then formed a dark fog together. When it lifted, out came... you? Or rather a corrupted you wearing your villian outfit. Her skin was pale white and from the blindfold, dark tears were streaking down*

"Is that so?"

She doesn’t say anything throughout this ordeal, but her fist is clenched- and generally, her demeanour seems more… alive than before.

*The other 'you' walks towards you until she is a few meters from your face*

"Do you truly believe that? Or is that what Ena told you as words of comfort?"

She forces herself to look into the other’s eyes.

I am choosing to. If she wanted me out of her life, it would be easy to detach herself from me. She chose this path, and I’m going to take it.

*The other you felt insulted. How could this happen? How could you just trust Ena like that? Such feelings were alien*

"Mere words of comfort from her are all but naught when she wasn't there for you to stop those boys. Moreover, hiding your secret from her is a sin you regret but one she can't forgive"

She shakes her head- she can’t help but smile. The familiarity of this… it’s exactly what she has been thinking for a while.

To her, I’m Mizuki. That’s everything I wanted. I thought I had no choice but to hide who I am… but I now get it, I was wrong. And that’s fine.

*At first you see nothing, but then vaguely see a dark shape flying in the sky and landing on an opposing rooftop. It was a crow. A crow with red eyes*

Why is there a crow out there? And why does it have red eyes?

*The crow then looked at you and tilted its head before flying away and out of sight. The cold feeling started to slowly fade away*

At this point she has given up wearing her blindfold properly, letting it half dangle over her lips and keeping only one eye obscured. She picks one of the roses from the crow closest to her, before nodding gently in gratitude.

Even if I am to be alone now, at least I have you. That is all I need.

*The remaining crows set about sorting your clothes and grooming you by pecking away any dust and by fixing your hair. It was weird having an impromptu salon like this but you still needed to look more presentable*

She doesn’t move the entire time, letting the crows do as they must. As long as she doesn’t have to pay.

I must eliminate those boys. The ones who told her during that sunset… it’s only fair, for them to go out before her. Right?
