I’m feeling so drained today. No spoons. Not even one. I had so much planned but I guess I’m putting that off until tomorrow...
I love autumn and winter but man, do they fuck with my health

If you set a boundary and someone else is disappointed or angry or upset, that reaction does not mean you’re not allowed to set boundaries or that it was wrong of you to do that.
If you ask someone for something and they say no, that does not mean you shouldn’t ask for things or that it was wrong of you to ask. Saying no to something, even if you really want it, is not (by itself) an attack on you, either.
There will be times in every good relationship where one person says no to what the other person wants. And there will be times when that answer feels bad to the other person.
That can be uncomfortable, but it’s healthy and good to be able to say no to each other. It’s healthy and good to ask each other for things and give the other person the chance to say yes or no. It’s healthy and good for each of you to be able to hear “no” and accept it even when it’s disappointing.
It’s healthy and good to own your emotional reaction and make sure you both agree that being upset is a normal and manageable feeling, not a crisis that requires someone to give up their boundaries.

Isn't it wild that most people don't experience pain every day? Almost eerie? I almost cannot fathom existence without the ever present alarm bells ringing in my head.
Oh man so this one day like a year ago I like...Idk what happened I took the perfect combination of meds and the weather was *exactly right* and I guess I’d slept well and I had recently had my last injection--anyway the planets aligned and for like 15 minutes or so I was in ZERO PAIN. LIke NONE. Not even the barest TWINGE. I was literally standing there next to my friend’s desk at work and it was like a revelation. “People feel like this...all the time?????” being in no pain is such an advantage????? It’s practically a superpower??????? I couldn’t believe it. I was sitting there going “omfg I could get so much done if I felt like this all the time, no joke?”
It didn’t last long but I STILL think about it.
One time I took cocaine and felt no pain for a good half an hour at least. It was amazing though I’ll never take it again as I have an unpleasant side effect to amphetamines and can’t take any adhd meds as a result.
How ADHD can influence relationships (romantically or not).

Young me going thru growing pains: wow cant wait to be an adult and i wont be in pain all the time!
My body knowing it’s going to manifest some sweet sweet chronic illnesses in a few years:
Shoutout to everyone who can go do things sometimes but spend the next week recovering.
Shoutout to everyone who looks healthy but isn’t.
Shoutout to everyone who has put up with the “why aren’t you better” b.s.
You’re still here. You’re alive. And I’m proud of you.
shout out to anyone having a flareup right now. i’m sorry you’re hurting. you’re stronger than you feel right now. go easy on yourself today. you deserve it.
I am a person who wants to do a lot of things trapped in a body that’s constantly exhausted and likes naps.
December practically killed me. I’ve had to take two days off work because I’ve felt so incredibly unwell and in pain and I can’t imagine work is too happy about it. I just hadn’t stopped in so long that it all caught up with me I think. Between work, rushing 200 miles home to say goodbye to my grandfather when we thought he wasn’t going to last the night, rushing back to work, working 12 days in a row, travelling 200 miles home again, visiting my very large family every day, travelling back to work again (which took 9 hours because public transport was disrupted due to the holidays) and then my body crashed. I had such a huge flare up. Today has been pure agony but tomorrow I’m going to have to force myself to go back to work. I just want some time to myself to get my energy levels back up. Someone please hit me with a car or something?
Several times today it felt like someone had my leg in a vice. I even yelled out in pain in work as I dropped to the floor at one point.
My doctor told me yesterday that my folate and vitamin d levels are low so I now have to take supplements every day. That’s going to cost me a fortune.
The real pain chart 🙌
I’m so fed up of being in pain all the time. It’s sending my depression into a dark downward spiral again. I’ve slept almost all day today.
Maybe I’m not cut out for a full time job. Two days isn’t enough time to recover each week. I’m exhausted and stressed and everything hurts.
Today I’m exhausted and have awful pain in the back of my left shoulder. I’m feeling incredibly stressed. I can’t relax. My heart is racing with anxiety. I don’t know what’s wrong with me. There’s a prickly heat rash all around my neck and what feels like something constantly stabbing my right ankle.
I had blood tests a few days ago because my doctor thinks I have fibromyalgia so we have to rule everything else out. I’m having an x-ray after work on Monday on my hips to find out if I have hip dysplasia. I just want some answers.
