"Hey, Hey! Welcome to the Boulevard. The Mayor asked me to let everyone know that the businesses on our beloved Boulevard are accepting letters. I don't know why he's making the postie do the job of letting everyone who visits know that but oh well!"

{Mod here: I was trying to have a little fun with this and I also realized the way I format this blog can be a bit odd. I have two things in the works rn. A master list that I plan to compile once the cafe segment is done so folks can keep up with the lovely community driven story and I also want to open up the ask box! I figured this would be a fun way to explore parts of the world building that I can't really get to in the main story line since the story is community driven and not everyone's votes win. It takes a lot to get the food out to the customers. If I were to recommend something... I personally like the violet shortbread cookies" "Trey, those are boring! They should go for-" "The Tuna surprise!" "Eh?! What are you doing in here again, you rat!" "I'm not a rat! I've told you cafe people a million times, My name is Grim!" "Well, Grim, get out!" "Be nice, Ace. He is right. The rules are clear on the door. No shirt, no shoes, no service. you left paw prints all over the floor" "Whatever! Serve me already!" "NO WAY! Go on. you'll drive out the customers! we aren't a cat cafe!" "I'm not a cat! HEY! Quit swatting at me with that broom! You'll pay for kicking out the Great Grim!" "That was exhausting. Sorry about that" "That thing always comes in here, demanding food" "The one time we did serve him, He dined and dashed on us. Now, it's a rule that we don't let animals in here" "AND Riddle made a special rule just for him so even if he manages to sneak past Cater, we could lose our job if we serve him" "That reminds me. Riddle has been telling me to promote the Strawberry shortcake since Strawberries are in season. So If you don't like violet shortbread cookies, you could always go with that"

"Welcome to Café Heartslabyul! I'm Cater but you can call me Cay-Cay! I'll be your host for this morning!" "What's that? OH! You're that critic thats coming around and reviewing everyone's businesses on the boulevard! Awesome, Awesome. Come closer, I gotta get a pic for the Cafe gram" *SNAP* "Thanks, this came out real nice. I can play with some filters later. If I get caught playin' on my phone out on the floor, the boss'll have my head" "You think that's a harsh punishment for just an employee slacking off? Well, that's how it is here. We may be a cute café but...our boss is known for being a bit.." "Hostile, Extra, A major pain in the-" "ACE! I was going to say a bit serious about the café. It's strict but it's our pride and joy" "Run while you still can!" "Since you want to antagonize the critic, Ace, you can buss their table" "But, Cater! Make Deuce do it, he's got less tables!" I'm starting a new AU (again) because Pokemon Café remix is ruining me. I love polls so I am once again running one! Let me know what you guys think! I think this AU will take me a lot longer to update than say my dispatch AU simply because I want to actually write out these recipes (with sources if the recipe is not my own, of course) with commentary from the Heartslabyul gang (and maybe special guests from the neighboring businesses). Edit: I am going to make a side blog for this AU where I focus on the whole street of businesses (Cafe Heartslabyul; Savanaclaw gym; etc. I swear I'll get better at names). I'm thinking it will be both an ask blog and a blog where I do stuff with the recipes. think of those events that are hosted on the TBHK twitter from time to time.
