Ze wants Rakko because he thinks he’s badass but Ana and Peeby assign him Usagi for reasons pure of heart (although oddball tendencies usagi is more than willing to risk it all and put themselves in danger for their friends) and also out of just straight up sibling malice (they know he doesn’t want Usagi (he doesn’t want to be seen as a joke to them)).

Ana is fine with Momonga and embraces it because she’s 16 and believes she’s doomed forever to be grating and annoying and completely unbearable and unlovable because she’s 16 but really really really really wants Shisa deep down because of her perseverance. Ze assigns her Momonga just because he thought she’d like her because she’s fluffy and also because he thinks she’s annoying sometimes (she is, they all are). Phoebe assigns her Momonga because she thinks she’s an asshole but recognizes her sisters plight of wanting approval in the animal. That and she thinks it’s cute.

Ze and Ana both initially assigned Phoebe Chiikawa because they think they’re the cutest out of all of them and it’s overall nervous demeanor fits her well but Phoebe took it as “oh god they think I’m a cry baby loser” and they had to back track really bad. They decided on Kani/Furuhonya because the character genuinely does fit and her being peebys favorite is just a bonus. Peebys still really self conscious about it and feels like they’re lying to her but it’ll be alright. This is my sibling assignment.
