Halfbody Shaded commission for @thedecayvoid of his character Johrantis being his smug self. This one was really fun and also quite challenging, I don't usually do many light sources like this but I do think the effect paid off. Many thanks to Void for commissioning me and trusting me to do the character justice, as well as the patience since this one went for quite some times as because of the two versions haha.

I am honestly surprised at (one) the decency of my insomnia-fueled botched attempt at pixelart ( the english language has no words to describe the absolute gambiarra I did to try making pixelart lol ) , (two) that I managed to make a little gif out of it, however botched the little floating sprites are... once I master these skills it's over for you hoes ( gonna start offering little sprites as commissions. gonna take a few months though as I want to really develop this new thing to an acceptable level of skill )

For now... this is my new pfp ( wish tumblr supported gifs like FA and DA weh )

Nightsketching - Commissions - Customer Reviews

I wish I could put a centralized review page for all customers to coment on, but it would be too convoluted to put it on the CARRD page... So I am making this post so Tumblr clients can write a review of their commissioned artwork in the comments/reblogs ! Of course writing a review is fully optional, if you as client choose to just not write one, you are free to go and it's all good :)

Review writing clients, please try to contain: - Professionality (was I friendly to you? Did we have trouble within the progress of your work?) - Time and Updates (how fast did I work? Did you have to wait too long for your art? if so, were the updates satisfatory to keep you relaxed about the wait time ?) -  Outcome (where you satisfied with your final artwork? Did I miss something?)

Commission Progress Update ( february 2025 ) 3 of 5 of the initial january 20th commissions have already been finished and sent to clients, 2 are into the flat color stage ( one of them being a ref sheet so it's almost close to done ). Another commission inquired on jan 25th is gonna move to lineart soon... But I will open the february inquiries by monday, feb 17th. The plan is to slowly move to opening commissions earlier in the month since I started on jan 20th, a bit late tbh haha.

And If you don't use your blog at all , then I can't verify you're real. If that's the case I need you to send me either an email with pictures of the character ( not a zip folder , not a link, THE picture for visualization in jpeg or png format ), or another social media of yours I can check AND a public character listing that I can search for by myself. The thing about going into an art hiatus, is that when I start to get out of it I mourn the loss of potential from so many ideas I could've put to paper. And I also realized I don't have as many examples of my art as I thought I had for my portfolio... 💀 We are not going to give in to the hiatus demon in 2025, we're fighting tooth and nail this year come hell or high water. * *once I get my drawing wacom back, rn my hands are tied for digital art.
