I find it interesting that Titan didn't know who Chrysalis is. This is the moon that had gotten eerily pissed at Ganymede for not calling the martian moons’ by their actual names. Although, that was after when the Moon was presumed dead, so that could excuse his pissy mood. Luna, at which nobody had once called them by, or possibly never learned, their preferred name. Instead they only ever referred to them, at that point, as the Moon or the name that evidently was offending them, the Earth's moon. However, Titan in the past not calling the Moon Luna, could be because his past idolization of Earth oversaw Luna as their own celestial. So, I’m not saying Titan knew what Luna wanted to be called, but a moon that had stalked them in the past could theoretically know The Moon’s other name. Titan did know the names of every other moon and in order of planet. Not to mention, Titan probably learned their names during the near end of the revolution. I can assume that was just a short amount of time to get everybody mesmerized and situated. When he tried to get Saturn to remember his moons’ names back in Saturn’s Moons Return, Titan got upset with Saturn for not properly intaking everyone. This makes it more odd that Titan doesn’t know who Chrysalis is, or more accurately, was. Why care about knowing every moons’ name and getting angry at those who don’t, when some moons in the past have been long forgotten by everybody? These weren’t just any moons, but moons that had shared the same planet as him. Did Titan truly not know who Chrysalis was or is he trying to bury the truth?

For now, I’ll believe that Titan was filling in for Saturn’s shortcomings. His memorization of moons’ names could have been caused by Saturn's forgetfulness. The cause of Saturn’s lost memory is certainly a mystery. I have developed a hypothesis that a celestial absorption of knowledge works differently to a homosapien. Like, Earth had PTSD flashbacks of Proto and Theia crashing in third person. Luna also supposedly remembers Proto and Theia the same as Earth. First off, memories do not get passed down to their descendants, that is uniquely just an Earth and Luna thing. Also, also, Earth has forgotten memories that don’t involve Proto and Theia and we don’t know for sure the cause. Those two throw a wrench at everything. I have considered these sentient celestial objects as supernatural beings that can literally bend reality to their will. They function in their own lane of logic. I believe back in middle school, our Teacher had said that you begin to forget something within 15 min of learning it. It’s easier to remember the beginning and the end of a subject the first time. If I’m not mistaken our brains also can make up stuff to fill in the gaps of faulty memory. Basically, in order to remember a subject as accurately as possible the person gotta study, preferably with notes and review. In Saturn’s Moons Return, Saturn pulls out a note pad and writes down moons’ names, but only after he failed to say some of his moon's names and the moons already left him alone. He didn't go over any material with his moons, he used what was already in his mind. Then the next time he spoke to them he managed to get their names right. That is super odd. It’s as if he could just pull up their names but the struggle was with proper labeling, recognition, or something. It is as if everything was there but misplaced. It could be, the celestials are capable of remembering everything they learn, even since birth like Jupiter. They just need to will it. Heck, they could probably go beyond that, they could learn the secrets of the universe. Have I mentioned how weird the Theia arc was already? Why the funk was Earth witnessing the big bang? I now believe Saturn always had it in him to remember all his moons, but his mind is scattered. That could mean that he can possibly remember what happened to Chrysalis and why he forgot in the first place.

Some titania analysis ig?

Titania's first appearance came in Moons of Uranus. Back then she is shown as harsh and strict. Taking care of the rest of Uranian moons. She is distrustful of Titan (which is understandable given the fact her planet threatened to kill them) and originally refuses to join his cause. While it is made clear Titania is acting like caretaker for her group, we also get the first insight of her being authorian. She refuses to listen whenever or not they want to go for the revolution. This could've been explained by how leaving the Kuiper belt was dangerous given the fact it would take them to pass Uranus' orbit. But this doesn't change the fact Titania doesn't listen to what goes against her will.

This patter can be seen repeatedly in her behavior. More recent episodes when Caelus leaves are obvious example. From Oberon asking that maybe they should stay just to be shut out to her complete refusal to acknowledge the reasoning why she can't go orbit another planet.

This way, Titania acts a lot like Titan in the moon club arc when he refused to get Ganymede and Europa in despite what everyone else said. And as Titania was the first one to call him out, saying that 'you make all the decisions flr the rest of the moons' shows that she most likely doesn't have enough self-awareness to understand how simulare her behavior is.

She is not afraid to confront the Sun or tell him that he's bluffing and remind that he needs the rest of the solar system. However the moment Sun goes berserk and says that he doesn't need balance' she's quickly pushed back. Together with the fact Titania was the one hiding from her planet, I think she is not really afraid to rebel, hovewer she doesn't like confrontations and tries to avoid them. Maybe that's the reason why she doesn't allow other Uranian moons to disagree with her.

And when there is no planets, she has nobody to argue agains, this way Titania gets far more open with her ideas, pushing it to extreme of becoming a planet herself.

Honestly, Titania and Caelus' current actions are very simular. They both choose to run away, instead of confronting their own issues. Caelus left the solar system, instead of trying to make others see his point of view and in the very least say his name correctly + refused to acknowledge name change wasn't worth going against everyone. Titania decided to move all the moons to another planet. And where there is none, she suggested becoming new planets without giving it a second thought or trying to understand what is going on.

Their first kiss. Two different reactions when it comes to this. Dunno. I think Titan gave her the ick one time and her crush on him fleeted.

Hate on saturian moons is lowkey crazy tbh.

Does Saturn love them? Yes, of course, it's clear from his reaction at mere idea that he destroyed some in the past. And he was willing to put effort in getting to learn their names.

But did he respect them at the time around revolution? Not really.

We can see in the very introduction of the moons how Saturn ends up misnaming almost all of them. I often see people excusing Saturn by the fact he has 274 moons, but keep in mind, those that he mispronounced weren't small distant moons that are most likely just captured asteroids. They are moons who are major and orbit very close, helping to maintain, if not outright create (in case of Enceladus) rings that he loves so much. But he still doesn't know the way he supposed to pronounce their names. And keep in mind he had millions if not billions years to learn their names. Which makes it even more obvious is the fact all moons literally correct him, and by reaction it's clear they are used to this. Saturn most likely was told their name countless times, and yet, he never bother to actually listen.

And then there's the situation about him possibly killing moons. It is shown that moons know their position, as Iapetus tells that gas giants could easily destroy all the moons if they wanted to. Their lives are under the giant planets that can kill every single moon if they wanted to. And imagine learning that a person who can destroy you in one second actually did destroy somebody before. Someone as small and fragile as you are. Of course it would push them over the edge, no matter how much remorse Saturn feels

Angsty Saturn head-canon

A head-canon of mine about Saturn is that he was indeed rattled by Jupiter's 'grand tack' and the accidental expulsion of Planet X, but the accidental destruction of his moon(s) that became his rings was too traumatic for him, so his mind (or rather 'core') deleted that event from his memories, thus why by the time of the 'Why does Saturn have rings?' video, he wasn't aware of how he got his rings.

Since he forgot how they were formed, he probably assumed that he always had them but couldn't see them for some reason (He believed that he was born with his rings after all). And so when Astrodude told him about the 'Destroyed moon(s) formed Saturn's rings' theory, Saturn is obviously devastated by this and immediately goes to confess this (re)discovery to his moons.
