It’s not like he doubted the demon’s ability, in fact it was something he feared. Some would see fearing for one’s own enemies as stupid but judging by the look on the Oni’s face, it feels far from it. Yugi closed his eyes briefly and balled up his hands, one deep breath and then two before he relaxed a bit. He sat the demon– no, Shiranui a resolved glare.

“Alright, I’ll trust you.” The words spoke was said with more confidence than he felt but it was fine. For the first time in forever.

   “Heh, now that’s what I like ta hear~” It was always more fun to have a contract when the contractor actually trusted you, as they were less likely to grumble about when work was enjoyed a little too much. Leaning back against the wall, the demon folded his arms and flashed a fanged grin.

   “Now then, master, what would ya have me do in this...downtime?”
