Note: This is a な adjective

I bought a special present 私は特別なプレゼントを買った watashiwa tokubetsu na purezento na katta (desu)

な adjectives like い adjectives can be used in the end of a sentence.

例:

Suzuki-san is special l鈴木さんは特別です suzuki san wa tokubetsu desu

な adjectives when placed in front of a noun, has a suffix な.

例:

Clear (beautiful) sky 綺麗な空 kirei na sora
