There is much talk about Toph’s inventing metalbending, and she is clearly an absolute genius, but you know what I love about her even more?

Toph’s response to not being able to control sand absolutely perfectly (as in hold up a sinking tower with one hand and fight off a gang of sandbenders with the other) is to work on her sandbending until she’s fully in control of every speck of dirt.

She is so wonderfully stubborn - she pursues bending not as a tool to defeat someone or gain power, but just to prove that she can do it. She’s the basic researcher of earthbending - just keeps pushing the limits of what can be done with no mind to the practical application.

so a couple of things about this. the roman empire was a very racially missed place because it conquered a huge amount of territory. because of that, it’s citizens included north african, semitic, west asian, latin, and greek peoples. the problem is that much of the country gets a lot, if not all, of its information about the roman empire from hollywood products (tv and theater movies) and we all know just how whitewashed everything that comes out of there is. i mean have you ever heard of macrinu, firmus, emilianus, septimius serverus, pescennius niger, aquilus niger, brutidius niger, q. caecilus niger, novius niger or trebius niger? no? not surprising. these were african EMPERORS of rome! so they never shared with us that there were africans emperors of rome, you can bet your sweet ass they are not going to tells us that there were black gladiators. and yes there were black gladiators because most gladiators were slaves and there were a lot of african slaves in rome. there were plenty of roman, greek and asian slaves as well. i mention that because it’s important to remember that slave during roman times weren’t as we know them today. it wasn’t sweet to be sure but it was very different than the slavery we learned in school. racism wasn’t even a thing back then. you were a slave if you weren’t born into the right family, if your country was conquered and/or if you weren’t roman. not because of your skin color. however africans regularly made it to high offices and contributed greatly to roman culture and life. we know from ancient writings that the roman had great regard and respect for africans and egypt. so it’s important to remember that the racism we know here and today didn’t exist in the days of ancient rome. again, i don’t want to paint the picture that it was perfect back then but it wasn’t this.

so yea, hollywood and america as a whole has gone of their way to write out africans from all of roman life except but to mention we were slaves. disgusting and insulting but that’s typical of america and hollywood. whitewashing the fuck out of history every chance they get.

Obama was the worst for deportation and I am so glad your blog is calling out his administration for that BS. A lot of the issues we have with Trump today started way back with Bush admins abuse of power. The dems under Obama had a chance to put an end to it, instead they used it to bolster their own power. Now its turning around to bite them in the ass.

This shit didn’t just start with Trump, he is benefitting from decades of careless power abuse that was practiced by both parties.

While there are people who agree with such policies, the government is also largely doing things that many of us in the US disagree with. What the government does, especially under the Trump administration is not necessarily reflective of what the majority of us want.

How To Attract What You Desire

(PDF’s online) Read slowly and reflectively. • Read Feeling Is The Secret by Neville Goddard (PDF’s online) • The Secret book/DVD is great for beginners but you’re going to have to dig deeper to pull this off. • Do what makes you smile. Read, play your music, call a friend, go for walks. Do whatever you can to lighten your mood. •Write about your desire as if it’s already happened. •Visualize your life ASSUMING the desire has already happened. How do you feel? What are you wearing? Where are you? Was manifesting easy and fun?

That’s Louis Rossman, a repair technician and YouTuber, who went viral recently for railing against Apple. Apple purposely charges a lot for repairs and you either have to pay up or buy a new device.
