Let’s face it. Cute and fluffy gets old for many of us. And to those of us that play more darker, villainous muses—they are not even applicable to our characters no matter how loudly “AU” is screamed. The mere thought of putting my muse in a cafe, school-teacher, or love-letter type AU screams OOC. As always, these are up for individual interpretation, and can be made to fit the player’s preferences.

WARNING: These contain possible triggering elements!!

✄ || Asylum/Prison system AU {Are you in for Life for something you are actually guilty of, or is it all a set up? Are you really mad or wrongly thrown in due to being overpowered? Are the inmates running the joint? Are you the corrupt doctors or warden? What did you do to get here?}

☠ || Haunted House/Occult stained home AU {This can be anything from being a paranormal researcher in a hellish house where terrible things stained the walls forever, or a victimized family trying to survive, sounds that echo, contorted faces in mirrors, blood that stains the walls, etc etc…}

Σ || Career Murderer being tracked by Detective AU {Think “Seven”, or “Law and Order”, “CSI”…A detective that is focused on ONE particular inhuman monster, and finding them at last, avenging the dead. Or is this killer just too clever for them, and they retire a “failure?”}

Scooping his arm, he throws it with a little less strength then he should but bears a satisfied smirk when it drops into the arms of the youth like a well placed three pointer; still got it. Even if he didn’t play any more for the school team, he had skipped such a concept when it came to schooling abroad, he had played with community teams and for sports leadership volunteer groups for younger children. An oddly satisfying pursuit that now he had returned to Japan left him unsatisfied. Bored. He wasn’t about to call up those brats either, heh. Still it hadn’t stopped him showing up to the conclusive Rakuzan and Seirin match. They’d take it too seriously, and that was actually pretty great. He’d wanted to see them go head to head. Wanted to put Akashi in his place once he had heard about his shitty attitude and change of pace. It was relative, the damage had been done and even from the audience he could tell in the change of his posture that the redhead had been humbled. Soon enough his feet had lead him outside of the stadium, lingering outside the main entrance almost expectantly although he had no clue what he was waiting for. A familiar face perhaps? No, he was just being ridiculous.

Akashi glanced at his phone once it lit up and once he noticed the caller-id picked up without a moment of hesitation. Hearing the other’s voice at the end of the line, he let out a small sigh before shaking his head. It seemed like the package had finally arrived. He owned once as well and knew how to use it, but he never actually planned to do so. Yet it would be a good method of distraction for anyone that came to visit that might end up bothering him too much. “I do believe there should be a manual, Shuuzou. It’s a present, I don’t need a reason to have bought you one. Now, have you packed out everything? I will explain once you have done so.”

Pulling it out, he ignored the English instructions in favor of the Japanese ones. Then returned to the English, because it was more comforting for him nowadays. "Huh. It needs an ethernet cable?" That's why - he had thought it would be wireless apparently not. "So... This game." Glancing at the box unseen. "Sword Art Online... Isn't it not supposed to go on sale for another hour? I won't ask how you got hold of it but... Are you going to play it too?"
