Jekan tilted their head, looking up at the shop called "Boa's", then looked over at the young woman only they could see.

"Are you sure this is the right place?"

She nodded, hugging her arms tight across her chest. The disguised naga hummed in his throat, then pushed the door open and stepped inside.

...Ah. It was a sex shop. Not what they expected, but they supposed it must've changed hands over the last fifty years. (They were trying not to smile at the sight of the ghost shielding her eyes and trying not to look at any of the toys surrounding her.) They cleared their throat and called,

"Hello? Anyone here? I had a few questions about your shop, if you have a minute..."

"Just a sec! I'm not technically open yet, last minute stock checks, but one moment and I'll be there to help you!"

Nikia hardly resembled their normal self, shrunk down to six feet and distinctly scaleless with long black hair and not a scale to be seen, but it was a necessary evil to deprive this world of their looks... at least if they didn't want to be balled up into the back of a windowless truck and taken to some facility to be poked at.

"Hi, welcome to Boa's, sweetie," they smiled.... and although their oddities were incapable of being perceived by any nonmagical means, it didn't mean she still didn't have her senses. That was not a human.

"... Well, let's not play pretend. I find that to be a drag." They grabbed the ring on their center finger and promptly yanked it off, revealing the true Nikia Boa in a flicker of appearance. "Nikia Boa themself, at your service. You here for something mundane sexy or magically sexy?"

FLOTSAM AND JETSAM - How important is family to your muse?

"Oof. Not an easy question. I do love them. I get along best with my cousin, Korax- he's the epitome of himbo and... he doesn't know the extent of the damage I've caused. But he's sweet, biggest heart imaginable. Aspasia and I are on speaking terms again, but I rarely return to Sinamos... and when I do, Kyrene won't be in the same room as me. She's my last surviving sister, and I understand why she's so pissed at me. But I... would like to make things right with her. Someday."

LADY TREMAINE - What does it mean to their muse to carry on their legacy?

"I want to change my legacy. I'm done creating weapons and causing death. I want to leave behind kindness. Be remembered as someone who chose love and not war. It's something I work on every day. If I enter the Underworld still being remembered as 'She Who Stir's Death's Ladle', then I've failed."

"... I gave up my morals, my common sense, my restraint, to get that revenge. And gods, I'll spend every day doing what I can to make up for that."

Dwight walks up and down the selection of toys. There’s an unmistakable color on his face, crimson and scarlet seeping into his skin the more he peruses the toys. He picks one up and examines the packaging. He stares at it for what seems like forever, his expression rather gobsmacked.

How is it supposed to fit in me-

When the shop owner’s voice rings out, Dwight scrambles to put the toy back as if he was caught doing something he wasn’t supposed to. His hand in the cookie jar. “O-OH HELLO!” Dwight coughs, regaining volume control. “I-I was just looking, I saw this shop a-and I got curious. T-Totally just looking.” A nervous laughter coming out of him.

Oh no he's adorable. Nikia softly laughed and came out from behind the counter, eyeing the toy that the young man had been holding. "Who doesn't like to browse now and again? Wouldn't recommend that one to beginners though. Think of it like deciding to run a marathon- if you try that without any work up or training you're gonna end up having a bad time."

"I'm Nikia, matchmaker, alchemist, seller of all things sexy. I'm not gonna judge you or think you're a freak for whatever you're interested in, little witch." Yeah, the snakes smelled the magic. It's a distinctive scent when you have snake hair. Which yes, a few are nudging at the young man curiously, trying to get a read on him.

"What're you curious about, hmm?"

I didn't care to think about how it could be abused until I saw what it did to that village.
