Met my childhood friend after a decade!

We were out of touch for several years until she found me on one of the social media channels and we became friends. Post that, we would message on and off, but it was still not how it used to be before.

A year ago, we began chatting. We would text day in and day out. Asking and talking to each other about everything under the sun.

Finally, We got on video calls and brought each other up to speed with our lives so far, our likes and dislikes and so on. But the pandemic had just begun and meeting up was just a far fetched idea.

Fast forward a year, she happened to visit my city for some other work, and we decided we would catch up. It felt like we just picked up the pieces from where we had left it off back in our teens. ❤️

We stepped out of our house for the vacation for the very first time last weekend, post the pandemic. It was overwhelming, yet enjoyable.

Loved reconnecting with nature and meeting our colleagues/ friends.

As the Pandemic began early last year, journaling thoughts and feelings helped me stay sane and in control of my emotions.😌

It also helped me get a stronger grip at drawing people.🥳

Though I mostly pour my thoughts in an another journal, some of them made way into my sketchbook as quick colour pencil sketches which I’d make in little pockets of my time during the day.🗒

Endless to do lists and not enough time to complete them all! Some days are a tad too overwhelming, aren’t they?
