Recuperating Days

My friends have always suggested that I should take pen to paper and write my daily life down purely for their entertainment. I always seemed to feel there was not much for me to say but now sitting at home 4 days post op of a gall bladder removal, watching Dr. Phil, I find myself rethinking my initial hesitation. Allow me to introduce myself,  im Nicole,  24 currently studying a Diploma of Counselling.  I live on the sunny Gold Coast not that I see the sun much as it tends to fry my skin after roughly 10 minutes.  Im single and today thats a decision im happy with ask me again tomorrow and my answer might have changed. I find being in this recuperating week that it's sort of like a fake prize.  On one hand I just got given a weeks reprieve of work and study but at the same time its like being placed in jail. You dont have to work or study but you also cant drive anywhere or leave your home/bed. Quite the predicament. Hopefully this week passes fluidly until then I have Dr. Phil for company! #goodbyesanity
