When life hands you a long weekend, go for a drive and a hike. By drive, I don’t mean a few minute drive. Go for long-haul drives that won’t only feed your eyes but also your soul. Do something new, something exhilarating and satisfying.

Your shoes are the first thing that people subconsciously notice about you. Wear a nice pair.

This short stay up north was the break that I’ve been needing since the start of the year. For me, there’s nothing more therapeutic than dipping your feet in the water, sitting in silence and getting lost in your thoughts.

Day in Life 1

It’s amazing how these simple writings can hit every single core of my being.

It’s been quite a while, really. 

My break from social media has been out of a lost of motivation, like the usual, I mean, what's new? Sometimes, you just have to dive into adulthood full of responsibilities and pull through the constant battle between sleep vs social life. But I didn't want to ring 2017 without a new post so here's a photoset of the recent pictures that I've managed to sneak in during my day.

Finding the prefect dress is every girl’s dilemma especially if there are a lot of styles and colours to choose from. Trying on an ample amount of dresses made me feel like I’m in my own Cinderella moment, obviously without a fairy godmother — I mean it would be nice if I have one.

Rewind to a week or two ago: finally was able to get a day off but then I was in the mood to hit the road for a long drive with no particular destination in mind. Here’s a 5-second clip as my phone did not cooperate with me as the dreaded message “not enough space available” flashed on my screen as I attempt to vlog my day.

It’s actually a breath of fresh air that I get to sport a colour other than my usual all black ensemble. I’m one of those people who aren’t so keen on wearing full-on bright clothing pieces but I guess it’s a great start if I want to transition more into slipping on colourful items. As far as the details, I gotta admit, this summer I’m all about off shoulder tops and high waisted ripped jeans — joni jeans, the best.

How are you today?

Trying to shoo away the Monday blues by having a bowl of freshly made soup and a good ‘ol cup of tea. Once I finished devouring these, I shall get my butt up and start my day. How about you?

What’s up beautiful people? If you will ask me, life has been wholly crazy. It’s like I’m fastened to a never ending roller coaster. I kid you not. I’ve come to realize that adulthood is not easy. Who’s with me? I mean earning your own money and being independent sound so mature and impressive but who am I fooling? I still need some getting used to and a cup of coffee here and there.  

This past weekend, I’ve been catching up on rest/sleep, binging on junk food, which I am totally regretting, and finally pampering myself up with face masks and mani-pedi sessions in between. I could really use a vacation somewhere sand-y and sunny aka — the beach. 

PS. Forgive this lousy look as I have been living for boyfriend shirts and slip ons lately. 

Anyhow, how has life been treating you?

Barbie may be as old as my mom but what’s not to love about her? She can be everything she wants to be. Here are just a couple of my favourite ones as this Expo features more than 1000 Barbie dolls dressed by world-renowned designers, dressed as celebrities/movie characters, and even multicultural ones (representing different countries from all over the world). A visit at this expo will not only bring out the inner child in you but also call forth your trendy side as you’ll see Barbie not the way you exactly remember her.
