TRANT DISCO ELYSIUM. he's saying a VERY real fact, very true- he is a very learn-ed man, very worldly, and also very buff. he read a dictionary one time and then kicked it into several pieces. that dictionary only had 3 days left until retirement :(

I love Trant Heidelstam as a character he is so fascinating to me. I want to study him under a microscope. He’s a divorced dad with partial custody. He used to be addicted to pyrholidon and replaced it with four hours (!!) a day of martial arts. He is disturbingly (upper?) middle-class. It’s never totally clear what his job is.

He’s essentially the only one from Harry’s squad that actually attempts to speak to him with any ounce of respect. He also ultimately detaches himself from the situation at any given opportunity. You can tell that he believes Harry much more than the others, but he won’t step up to defend him and in the bad ending he’ll abandon Harry for dead just like Jean and Judit.
