Favorite SnK Moments: Nile Dok

My favorite moment is it was accepted that Nile wasn’t a backstabbing, woman-stealing, monster and instead began to see him as a soldier doing his duty. But these are supposed to be manga moments so it doesn’t count.

When Hange is telling Levi and the kids how the revolution was won, she explains, “It was everyone’s individual choices that brought change to our world.”

My favorite moment for Nile is when he did just that. He chose to betray the King and stand with the people when he realized their complete disdain for humanity.

I’m not surprised by his decision. While at times vilified, a realistic look at Nile shows him to be a caring family man and a soldier who always has humanity’s best interests in mind.

Nile doesn’t completely trust Erwin, and rightly so. Erwin is a dangerous man, a loose canon. But when Nile realizes that Erwin’s cause is the right one, he’s quick to give him his full support.

I finally finished my picture of Nile! My digital art isn’t that good since I don’t own a tablet nor have I ever owned a tablet, I draw it with the mouse. BUT Here it is, it’s kind of a representation of Nile being a Military Police man and not being able to say what he wants to due to his job and the fact that he could be killed.

Since it’s Christmas, I decided I’d make a Christmas time post about Nile! I see him as the dad who gets a small gift and puts it in a box, then puts the box into a bigger box, and continues on with that. He’d probably make his kids wrap their own presents, claiming they are for someone else in the family. Then for his buddies, he would get gifts related to their personal little inside jokes, and they would laugh about it and no one else would understand. For Marie he would probably get her something really expensive, and special, because she deserves the best.
