The Quest to Track Bottle Feeds
I've been suffering with the worst case of forgetfulness since I gave birth. I had forgotten almost everything I could forget, from stuff I should bring, to wallet (forgotten it coz there's no money in it though), even my wedding ring!
So lately, I noticed how my little one has not been drinking enough milk. I say this, only based on what's written on his can of milk wherein he needs to be drinking 210ml of milk, 5 times. He has not, even once, drank that much since he turned 5 months old. So just to make sure, I tried to find a way to track his feeding.
Well, I've been hanging out in the Google Playstore lately, and a call app I found is Feed Baby (click here to get it). It helps me track my baby's feedings - from how many milliliters he drank, and how long he has been feeding in one bottle. It also has the feature of tracking which breast the baby has been fed on.
I have been using the app for the 3rd day today, and it seemed really helpful for a forgetful mom like me. Since he's check up is this weekend, I have enough data to tell the pediatrician that my baby isn't feeding based on the recommended amount of milk. Which may also be the reason why he isn't gaining much milk. I am hoping that we could change milk.
Other features includes tracking pee/poo times, sleep (helps me a lot as well cause sometimes I feel like he's only been sleeping for less than 30 minutes). Those are the features I use. Another that I liked is the growth tracker. You can record the monthly, or whenever you please, growth - height, weight and head circumference of your baby. The one thing that I had been trying to do in Excel. Haha! They also have tracking feature for pumping, medicine, and all those graphs, too!
It's pretty neat. And maybe if you're using a better phone than I do (HTC Wildfire old oooollllddd Wildfire), it would probably be working great too.
