so hiiiii hey everyone! what's up :) you can call me jay or mischief, it/they/e/he, and welcome to my silly little ninjago blog ^v^ it's been active since 2018, and ninjago is one of the most important shows to me i love it so much ;w;

my favorite characters are jay (and rogue) and morro. favorite villains, if excluding morro, are dr larow and chen. vania and unagami are in my Funny Little Guys room :)

i dont really focus much on shipping but i'm a big fan of the oppo-firewall-pixane triangle (hotwire), destiny (platonic or romantic), plasma (but my very specific brand of it), jaya (QPR EDITION), and lostshipping. also ceo of alchemist (gandalaria/larow) but i've abandoned my business whoops. also ceo of circuitburn (jay/kai/pixal/zane) but i need to actually talk about them more

how do i even describe this. i havent even decided how he turns into a dog he just does at some point in the administration. ends up being found by arin during s1ep17, and then later by ras who uses him to guard the sacrifices for the blood moon ritual. after that he ends up with the ninja who dont know who his is. also he doesnt really know who he is.

its crack taken seriously basically. and i really enjoy it.

i think the thing i enjoy about this au is its basically just a metaphor for what happens in canon. jay doesnt know who he was and the ninja refuse to see his new self so even though hes home with them theyre still looking for their jay, convinced hes still missing.

jays new form is stripped of personhood, the administration and ras tore him of his humanity and left him something raw and painful. hes angry and scary and fearful and confused. hes without morals but he isnt evil, its just that he can no longer be placed in right and wrong.

and recovering from this? that isnt easy either. treating him like an animal isnt right, but forcing him to be a person isnt entirely either. its a slow, strange process that needs to be taken at his pace. even so, he holds conflicting identities. can he be both a person and a wolf? how do you even go about that?
