WHAT THE BUTTER-
Still in siege and storm. I cannot believe the audacity of Mal. He is toxic and Alina deserves more better. It feels so hurtful to say this, but Mal never cared for Alina even if she was her old self before the whole events recurred. He just was a typical fuckboy and didn't even consider that Alina cared for him.
And when he is in a relationship with Alina, he still never cared about her. He thinks about himself but in a way he thinks he is doing it for Alina's good. The typical "good" boy characteristics of Mal is simply a waste. I cannot believe that Alina forgave him even after he CHEATED on her with Zoya.
The Darkling may be a villain but the actual person who has hurt Alina the most is Mal Oretsev. He doesn't want her to be ambitious because then his insecurity rises and blames the "I'm not fitting into this world" to Alina and Alina is always thinking it's HER FAULT. Like darling, do better and forget that lil shit.

This is such a beautiful end. Vincenzo is one of the kdramas that broke many stereotypes, with the story and with the characters. You see each and every character having their own personality, their own development and how their importance is connected to the story.
Song Joong ki as Vincenzo portrayed a kind of evil that banishes all evil. Being the consigliere of the Italian mafia, he portrayed himself so much alike them. I don't know the code and ethics of the Italian crime organisation but their main form of rule is respect and discipline. Vincenzo showed that . He is merciless but he does it in a dignified way.
Jong Yeo-been as Hong Cha-Young was simply brilliant and this is how the kdrama evolves. She isn't a damsel in distress kind of character who is in a dire situation. She is instead a very strong headed and an ambitious woman who thinks and also cares about other people. She posed herself to be very carefree and a sassy character who doesn't care about anything called fear. Yeo-been was perfect for this role and nobody could have done it better.
Ok Taecyeon was incredibly perfect. It must have been hard to do a role that has so much duality in it. Being the cute and innocent Junwoo to a very sadistic and cruel Hanseok was such an incredible thing to watch. I did wish he had a little more development for the audience to witness how sadistic he can become but he indeed did the role perfectly.
Kwak Dong Yeon as Jang Hanseok was impactful not going to lie. We as an audience never felt any closure from the fact that he could be one of the villains but he isn't a villain at all. He portrayed an abused brother in such a nuance, my heart aches for him everytime he was used and thrown. I wish the creators gave him a better ending :(.
Kim Yeo-jin as Choi Myung-hee was so good. Kdrama female villains are so less to see and Choi Myung-Hee being the brash and a cunning lawyer was honestly amazing. She honed that character so perfectly to the point we could have completely hated her.
Jo Han-chul as Han Seung gives a comical relief even tho his character should be as cynical like the rest of the villains but he displays a foolish lawyer with no aims whatsoever. So whenever he comes into the screen I'm honestly in the floor or either banging my head onto the wall.
Overall this kdrama is such a treat to watch and completely different from other kdramas. The romance between Vincenzo and Cha-Young was real and unlike the toxic ways kdrama men get to have their females was common, Vincenzo showed a very normal way of how it should be pursued.
I will miss this drama because it ended in a very relieved manner but hopefully there maybe a season 2 👀. We do not know.
Jang Hanseo, the person who wanted to be loved.
Will remember your sacrifice.
Shadow and Bone cast if it was a kdrama.
Ps. I don't have much characters in there. Don't hate on me if the cast isn't accurate.
IU as Alina Starkov
Hyunbin as The Darkling
3) Nam Joo-hyuk as Mal:
4) Kim Yong-ji as Genya
4) Park Shin-Hye as Zoya:
4) Namgoong Min as the Apparat:
5) Ha Ji-Won as Bhagra
I couldn't find some peeps that can play Feydor and Ivan so I wanted to know if there is someone in your mind that can do the role ;3.
EP 19:
This whole episode got me crying. Not because my anxiety is on top of the roof. It's just how the creators decided to show a very peaceful rhythm until Hanseok got out of the jail.
The one aspect that hurt me is when Hanseo was supposed to test his loyalty and ultimately he chose to hit Hanseok. This shows how much he fricking respects the main character. And it's concluded that he did feel misplaced and he and he did feel manipulated. Just to see him sitting next to the tenants in the court scene made my heart swell. He was ready to be a new person. Adorable beanie.
EP 19:
Imma kill anyone who hurts Cha-Young.
The gang :
"You curse at me and it's fine. We play hockey and I feel at ease. And it just feels like I'm drinking with a friend" - Jang Hanseo
I feel like a proud mom *sob*
The crack in EP 18:
Why do I think Hanseo shot Vincenzo Infront of the Interpol was all a plan?
Just imagine if he is dead and the Interpol leaves him in the hospital where Vincenzo escapes from and then the audience gets to know it was Hanseo and Vincenzo's plan together to bring down Hanseok
Maybe Hanseok would be overconfident af and start attacking Geumga and by this means, it would be Cha Young who will take actions (maybe Vincenzo will ask her what to do) and maybe the tenants are all prepared.
For Hanseo, the gain will be that he will gain his trust back from Hanseok just in order to get information. Idk that's how I feel :/
EP 17 in a nutshell:
Me applying to Geumga Plaza:
This man. I loved Hanseo until the end. I wanted to root for him but he ended up being a Jang. I cannot face myself to think on what he did to Vincenzo.
But let me talk to you all about this scene which made me feel a lil sorry for Hanseo. I think he felt used and manipulated by the people he is around that made him not feel loved at all. I think Vincenzo is the brother he needs and not Hanseok who uses his brother like a pawn.
The way he held Hanseo makes me wonder whether he would have a change of heart and the worst happened in the end.
Can we appreciate the creators for giving each side character an important role. We need a Vincenzo Universe
