Today(July 16th) is my birthday and I made this little comic as a birthday gift to myself! 🥳🩷 ✨ Doof went all out planning that SpongeBob themed birthday party for me and even invited Chapulín to help him with it so I would be happy. Even my cake had cherries that I love and "jellyfish jam"! They are the best ever I love them so much!🩷 We invited a few friends and family to the party. Everything was so perfect!😭🩷 Happy Birthday to me!🥳🎉🩷

Honestly, all I want to say is some advice about your Gadget and Ninfa selfship, and that would be to maybe polish the romance between them a bit, because the "dominant man" and "vulnerable girl" romance is a bit of a cliché (I based this on the responses from other anonymous users). It's just advice, nothing hateful or anything like that. If I misunderstood your concept of selfship, I'd appreciate it if you could clarify. 😊🙏

Hi anon, I think the impression comes from the fact that I've mostly shared softer or more intimate moments between them, so I can understand why it might look that way. Ninfa isn't meant to be a helpless or constantly vulnerable character. If I remember correctly, in some answers I talk about dominant and vulnerable roles, was especially when I was talking about intimate moments between them.If you know what I mean *wink*.

In fact, she's often the one who supports or even saves Gadget, and she's perfectly capable of standing up to him when she disagrees with him. Their dynamic goes both ways. I have older drawings where that can be seen. I'm also not interested in writing Ninfa as a completely tough character.

I just tend to draw the sweeter moments because those are the ones I enjoy illustrating the most. So I appreciate your advice, and I also appreciate you asking instead of assuming. Ninfa is strong in her own way and I simply enjoy drawing Gadget loving her and seeing her let her guard down with him.
