Ok so this is completely out of left field but as most people know Aespa is about to come back with a new song called Next Level.

The first thing I thought of when I saw the name was a song also called Next Level by A$ton Wyld from the soundtrack of Fast and Furious presents Hobbs and Shaw.

Now I thought it was a coincidence but know I’m a bit scared

This is the original song that I talked above.

Just a minute ago I watched the teaser for Aespa’s new song and they sound identical. Now SM has done this before where they take an old song and just a bit of difference so it doesn’t sound the exact same but it might as well be.

SM did this with Girls Generation song Dancing Queen. It’s a pop version of Mercy by Duffy. They also did this with the NCT song Fly Away With Me. That song sounds just like All About Us by Jordan Fisher. Like I said in both cases, the songs are changed just enough to be a different song from the original but this Aespa one is different

Aepsa’s Next level sounds identical to Wyld’s version. I’m not saying this to come down on Aespa, I’m more worried. I don’t want a lawsuit to affect their first comeback.

Okay so from what I’ve gathered so far

2 of them are real people and 2 are robots designed to look like the real ones? And you can download the ai software from the robots so that you can talk to them?

Okay I think I get it? The 4 ai “members” are just avatars of the members to interact with fans so the actual members don’t have to. They don’t perform or anything they’re just for the fun stuff and you download them to talk to them whenever you want.

there’s no ai members, no content of them outside the teasers and a few seconds in mvs, all the aes are just ai counterparts of the 4 members

its more of a gimmick than anything that mostly gets forgotten outside official releases, but there’s a lot of misinformation out there because everyone wanted to hate on aespa at debut 😭

maybe they’ll eventually have the tech for them to do performances à la world champions, but I don’t think is any intention for them to have any actual interactions with fans

I dont know man, SM had eight of the top 30 Korean albums of last year just as one company so I don't really think they're I that bad of shape long-term. Especially when you factor in how popular NCT is getting and how young they are I think that's gonna be a huge source of revenue going forward.
