Since Ninja Party is going to be filled with a Ninja Mask Gallery from 20 visual artists, the sickest NYC Underground Hip Hop Artists, Dope Hosts, Fly Models, Dancers, One of the busiest DJ's in the business and the most unique guests RSVPing by the moment I figured it was only right to have the illest squad of photographers. Therefor we recruited the fantastic fourChris Kelly of EyeConicVisions, Ron Specs, Matty Jacob of New Swag Cityand Rich Hardt Fotographer CEO of Overspray - An Artistic Playground. These gentlemen are artists. The photos, videos and events that these men have been putting out on a regular basis are an inspiration. It's an honor and privilege to have worked with all these fellas.

6 Years ago when we threw our first event ever which was a Black Book Hip Hop event all I kept hearing was "Exit, Exit" "The homie John Exit" "I'll talk to Exit and see what's good". I was like "Who is this guy?"  As I got more in touch with the urban art community in New York I eventually met the homie John Exit. I remember about 2 years ago when hurricane Sandy hit I saw this guy take charge, roll up his sleeves and walk into any type of house with a team of handymen to fix things up. Weeks after weeks this man pour his heart and soul into Staten Island leading many women and men into the homes of people who lost everything to give them a hand. At that moment I realized why everyone 6 years ago was saying "Exit, Exit, Exit". This guy gets the job done.

We recently collaborated on Givemas at CD Skateshop Inc last November which was a big hit helping us raise a lot of $ for families affected in Sandy. So when the Ninja Party idea came about he was one of the first people I hit up and was like "Yo bro we have to curate a Ninja mask gallery." First thing he said "When? I'm there." Exit is someone I know I can always count on to turn up in the name of art and spread love to the community. John and I will be curating the Ninja Mask gallery at Ninja Party. He will also be unveiling 2 masks at the gallery as well. I'm honored and privileged to be working with someone I grew up hearing about.

Liz Manzolini and Magie Serpica are about their business and about their art. I've had to privilege to check out a bunch of art shows they were part of and have a wall full of art to prove it. A little over a year ago they opened their own tattoo shop Milk and Honey Tattoo where the homie Jeremy Nieves calls home as well. It has been dope to see the store flourish and do a lot of nice community events. They are definitely two ladies that execute great art shows, beautiful art pieces and timeless tattoos. If I didn't have the pleasure of having Kwue Molly as a friend his art presence alone in NYC would force me to know who he is regardless and I would eventually find him and introduce myself. Since meeting him last year at Pillz Kills at Richmond Hood we have built an awesome friendship. I call him Uncle Kwue. About 6 months ago I had an idea to make a life-size bookmark and put a shout out for help on Facebook. Within 2 minutes I was getting a call from Kwue to help and within a week or so I had a 4 foot 'Don't Stop Dreaming' bookmark that has been across the country and back with me as I toured with G-Eazy, Kurt Rockmore, Tory Lanez and Rockie Fresh. Kwue is just that dude that goes the extra mile to help people. It has been amazing to see how far his art has gotten him whether it be Art Basel or in Denver doing shows with Ghostface Killah. It is an honor and privilege to know this guy. He has been like an uncle to me driving me around, painting my office and doing tons of art shows. Below is a pic of his Sticky Situation entry of 2014, his mural he collaborated on behind Richmond Hood, a car he painted for an art show at 5050 Skatepark to help the Lark Fund and his sign he painted for  Stereotype Co. If you didn't think makeup was an art you must do your research. It's amazing what a make up artist can do and how essential they are to making certain events function. Try to have a wedding, fashion show or video shoot without one. They make the videographers and photographers work a lot easier too.  The homies Malary Feliciano and Jennifer Baez (Jenn Baez) will be at Ninja Party doing Ninja Facepainting and Ninja Make Up. Make sure to stop by their booth for a one of kind face painting and get your photo taken by 1 of our 4 photographers at the event Matty Jacob, Ron Specs, Chris Kelly and Oversprays own Rich Hardt Fotographer. I have had the privilege of working with them on a few different events like FaceTime at Overspray - An Artistic Playground and Forever Live Fly Showcase. They both are talented all around artists. Jenn doesn't just work a full time job and is a mother but also manages to find to make music.  Malary is always on her hustle going from city to city to conventions and bar tending at almost every place on the island to continue seeing her dream become a reality. Sunnyhaze and Saidu are two positive dudes from Shaolin that know how to tear down microphones and rip stages. Each one of them brings positive vibes to the mic and create memorable experiences for their fans. I've had to honor to share some events with these guys. Saidu delivers a high energy performance every time out. His band Tatterhood brings crazy energy to the crowd with great instrumentation to back up Saidu's sick lines. Sunny's tracks are deep and impactful. Sunny somehow has enough time to be a man of God, be a father and husband, have his own label and throw his own music concert series The 241 Indie's St Series: Volume 2. Make sure to check out their concert series. It's been awesome to see these gentlemen evolve since high school. They will both be hitting the stage at the same time at Ninja Party. Joining The MarXman as our host is my homie Spike Fr. We have done a bunch of events together and I have had the opportunity to see him rock a bunch of comedy shows in Staten Island. He recently just hosted Sticky Situation which was a big hit a few weeks ago.  Read below to learn more about the man Spike Grant who will be hosting the Ninja Party.

Spike Grant "THE ANGRY LITTLE College GEEK" discovered his talent as a stand up comedian while attending high school tell jokes to his peers and to girls in the cafeteria. When spike was 16 years old he gathered the courage to perform on his high schools hurricane Katrina talent show. The only comedian who performed well he decided to pursue a career path as a stand up comedian. SPIKE then began to perform on many local open mic shows every week which landed him on a few shows such as wacky Wednesdays and the funny man comedy jam. After winning the battle for laughs competition twice spike grant decided to branch out to the city and begin performing in comedy clubs . He's performed at comedy clubs such as Caroline's on broadway, the metropolitan room , NY Comedy club , broadway comedy club , Greenwich comedy club, and stand up ny. He even went as far as Philadelphia every week in 2012 to perform at the laugh house comedy club.  

Spike grant has since had his own successful running comedy shows called THE BIG LAUGHS COMEDY SHOW AND THANK GOD IM FUNNY COMEDY SHOW all hosted by himself .He has hosted shows such as the live fly fashion show , RICHMOND hood companie an ink monsters sticky situation , The ninja party and food fash art show and the second annual Dino's ride home comedy show coming up this November . 

Spike will continue to deliver his angry short geek comedy to the masses of people as long as there is a mic, stage and crowd.

One year ago I had the honor of linking up with Milk and Honey Tattoo Parlour own Jeremy Nieves. I reached out to him after stumbling upon his instagram to speak about possible collaborations. I am a big fan of traditional tattoos and I just loved how he did them with his own twist. While I was on tour with Mike Stud we corresponded a lot with ideas. Eventually we came up with the idea of doing something NY inspired. Before you know it he started painting the 'Statue of Liberty Type' design. He hand painted this design. It took him close to 15 hours to finish. It was a classic moment when I got to meet his baby daughter and present her with her very own 'Statue of Liberty Type' onesie in the hospital she was born. The homie pays real close attention to detail so I had to have him tattoo me last month (see photos below). It's a honor and privilege to know this dope artist and have him as a friend. Jeremy will be unveiling a mask at the Ninja Party on August 10th. Can't wait to see what he shocks the world with next

Paul Marz and I have been best friends for over 20 years. The homie has been with me since day 1. We used to freestyle over the phone when we were 12 years old and I was unable to get a ride to Tottenville. It has been awesome to see how much my homie has progressed in the last 15 years in life and music. I couldn't ask for a realer friend. Paul's focus and grind has encouraged me to focus on my craft and take it to the next level. He has consistently put out a mixtape the last 6 years.  Paul is notorious for introducing me to quality individuals. Bobby Barss is one of those dudes. Dude works really hard, is a family man and would do anything for his circle of people. It's a honor and privilege to have this gentlemen taking the stage at Ninja Party. I'm super hyped to see what they shock the world with.

Juliane Leigh Forsyth is a young lady with a vision and sick with the paint brush. I visited her studio to buy a video pieces after seeing her work on Instagram. One had Pocahontas that says "Maybe things could change if you change your view" another had a bunch of clocks and the words spelt in dollars 'You Can't Buy Time'. I remember her telling me "I want to just move to Miami then come back to NY and throw art shows." A few months later that's what she did. After living in Miami for a few months she is back in NY throwing Art Shows. She is actually hosting a 6 week art show in Staten Island 'Stay Gold'. It's nice to see her progress. She is unveiling a Ninja Mask at the Ninja Party on August 10. Looking forward to seeing what she creates.

The homie Kevin Mahoney never fails at impressing with his art work, humanity and generosity. Whether it be a huge mural in a public park or turning a recycled piece of steel from Hurricane Sandy into the shape of Staten Island. He always makes the most of what he has and makes it into something special. He even blessed me with a piece 'Unbreakable' inspired by Stereotype's hand collaboration design. He is part of one the illest crews Robots Will Kill. They are constantly killing the game. Over the last year I have seen him take part of dozens of art shows raising money for the Lark Fund, Hurricane Sandy and more. It's a honor and privilege to know such a hard working talented dude. He will be unveiling a mask at the Ninja Party. Can't wait to see what he shocks the world with.

Kevin Mahoney— aka “Kev” of the noted street art collective Robots Will Kill — has spent his 25-year career experimenting with multiple artistic mediums (his recent work was featured in the 50/50 Skatepark exhibitions “Many Hands” and “Inspired by Us,” the latter of which benefited S.I. Arts’ Lark Fund education programs).

His new work is equally urban — but totally different.

Local street art afficionados (for the uninitiated, there are many fans and a few NYC legends residing in this borough) need not worry, Mahoney is not retiring “Kev” any time soon.“As street art gains more and more acceptance in the mainstream art world, there’s a blurring of lines: Time magazine, Comedy Central, HBO are using it to promote their product,” he says.

“I personally don’t go out and vandalize (pause), anymore (laughs). We’re concentrating on (commissioned) installations and larger murals with community messages. We’re using it as a media to get a message out there, especially to kids.”
