“..Well..considering the fact that Master Raphael will probably never dare to pop the question, we will never know. However, I just wanna say that Ninjara is totally into Raph so I dunno why he doubts himself so much. It makes me wonder why though, they really seem suited for eachother consider they both yell and scream and kick my ass. She is just as violent and weird and scary so I dunno why he is so worried..“

18 — a kiss on the wrist

There was something about these woods that felt good, like home. However he was not so sure if Ninjara felt the same. Perhaps these woods were not her final place to settle, and even if it hurt to think that she would leave him and explore the world, he knew that holding her back would only drive her away. He was done holding people back. “Ninjara. What about travellin’? Yer job. Ya know..Is it callin fer ya?” He stroked her arm with his fingers, all the way down to her hand, and took it gently, bowing to kiss her on the wrist. “ M seein’ it in the girls too. They wanna go. Ya could go wit em.”

Ninjara looked up at Raphael.  Even after all the years he still had strong bouts of insecurity. 

She smiled at him.

“You know settling down in one place was hard for me, and I would love to travel the world again too but I don’t know that being an assassin is really my dream job. I am good at it, but this life has been far more rewarding. I have always just done what I had to do, until being here with you, and if I went anywhere now I would not want to go alone.”

Their life had been quiet. Calm. Happy. “You know, by the time I was Moon’s age I had traveled half the world. As had you. It is no real wonder she is so full of discontent.”

She swiveled her hand in his, sliding her fingers through his. “Would you be against such a journey? I would not want to go anywhere without you. Plus, there are others that would be willing to go with the girls.”

    Raphael stalked up to her, as quiet as he could. It was quite odd how quiet he could be, considering his hulking size and the wooden boards of their  new place. The only one outmatching his stealth was her.     

    He loved watching her. Her elegant gait and the way she moved so smoothly. Like no human could. He snatched her suddenly, and buried his maw warmly in the nook of her neck, growling playfully. God he loved her so. “What are you doin baby?” He murmured warmly, and stroked her tummy slowly.

She loved it when he surprised her. It meant she felt safe. Comfortable. It meant she wasn’t on guard every moment of every day and it was a wonderful feeling. 

“Hey! Babe, don’t scare me like that!” She said it and she meant it but she also laughed. She turned in his grasp, taking his hands and sliding them around her waist and switch the side of her neck that he was nuzzling. “You know I like it when show me that I’m content enough to not slice your neck in two but that doesn’t mean you have to be so effective at it!”

“You must keep your senses sharp and your mind awake. How can you do that if you’re always high?”

Instant eyeroll. God her mother could be so intense. She groaned in aggravation, removed the sig, opened the window and tossed it out into the grass. “It’s gone. Okay? Jeez…”

NInjara glared at her daughter. “If you start a fire doing that....I will not tell your father to control his temper, again.”

// So, in addition to adding the whole mnt group on here, I have been thinking about an oc I wanna add to this blog. She has a lot on her mind, and I really wanna have my go at writing her. She would be the problematic daughter of Raph and Ninjara inspired by my roleplays with @ninjara-umeko 

She goes only by kiddo for now, but probably has a name, which I need to figure out. 

I don’t even like furries anymore ( bad experiences, but not judging ) so this should be interesting.

 “We were all 16 and traumatized. Now we’re 30 and traumatized. You’re not anything new or different you’re just a pervert. Stop whining, I’m not gong to kill you.”

“Raph, haven’t you taught your student any manners at all yet??”

As Raphael charged toward him, Renoir slid down against the wall in defeat and covered his head with his arms in terror. When the attack didn’t come peeked out from under his arms to reply. “But, but! You are old! I’m young now! I’m immature and do immature things!”

“Well ehh..uhh..” That was true, wasn’t it? He hadn’t exactly managed to make Renoir stop with his perverted ways. “I apologize, baby. He’s my responsibility, n’ I try teachin’ him but..”

He nudged the youngster with his foot. “Oi!! Renoir!! Listen t’ Ninjara when she speaks t’ ya! From now on, she is as much yer boss as I am. We are both yer masters now!!! So begin by apologizin’ to er!”

“What..?” Oh no. This fox-ninja-girl was totally scary and freaky looking. She was probably holding in a lot of anger for looking so odd! Did she even know what a furry was??? Had she even seen all the furry porn on the web?? “I-I-I..I’m sorry miss Ninjara!!I’m just..not used to seeing..seeing weird looking mutants everywhere! I’m used to humans!”

“I’m not a mutant, BOY. I am exactly what I was meant to be when I was born as are all my people, you narrow minded, dim witted, human minded...”

Ninjara halted. He said he WAS human. So all this was probably pretty odd to him. He was young anyway, and not worth getting her temper fired up over.

“Raphael, I think I would make less of a master than you would, but the respect would be nice.” She glared at Renoir pointedly. “Consider it a free lesson of how not to talk to me, or Raphael. He’s far too easy on you but don’t expect me to be.”

Ninjara reached up and rubbed the rugged, yet smooth surface of Raph’s shell. He wasn’t sleeping and she didn’t know why but she certainly knew where it was leading.

“Need to talk?” she asked softly, curling up behind him and brushing her tail across his arm. She added, with a small giggle in her voice in an attempt to soothe him. “Need something else?”

“I just..I feel..” He could barely feel the hand rubbing his back despite despite how sensitive it was, but it did help. Even more so distracting was the touch to his arm. The thought of someone wanting him gave him the strength to bring himself to look away from his pain, and he turned to look at her, his gaze hollow and weary with exhaustion. 

“Ninjara..” He pet her face slowly. In a way, she was so much like Leo. She could somehow bring him into balance, but at the same time she was a fuel to the curse, as it kept telling him how cruel he was to infect their lives with his existence. 

Raphael bowed his head to look down at his lap, and at his hands. His bandages were slowly growing darker with blood again, and he slowly closed and opened his hands before finally speaking again.

“M’ sorry. I Ain’t..doin’..too good. I can’t ignore it..anymore..I noticed..these scars..are bleedin..but I don’t know why. Is it..coz I deserve it?”

Ninjara glanced at Raphael’s hands.  She quickly existed the bedroom and returned with fresh bandages and knelt before him.

“This magic is strong Raphael. And while it may draw from feelings you have deep within yourself, it is not operating on whether or not you deserved this curse.”

She hastily removed the bloody bandages and re-wrapped his hands, worried because she had no idea why it kept happening.  Once she was done she lifted her hands to his face, tail twitching with worry.

“I do no know why they bleed either. Perhaps it is a reflection of what you are feeling deep down. Perhaps not. No matter what the cause it is a part of you and therefore not a thing you face on your own.  If sleep won’t come to you, then you come to me and we can talk, or I can just hold you close until it passes.” 

Raising herself slightly she kissed his cheek and knelt back down. She lowered her hands to his shoulders and then down to his forearms and laid her head on his thigh.

Renoir fell silent at that point. yes she was terrifying, but there was something captivating about her as she waved her arms and yelled in anger. Her legs..they were so weird! And her teeth so sharp and her… The poor teen could not break his gaze away from her ample bosom either. Needed he run? He should run. But what was this magic? “Uuuuuuuuhhh.”
