i will raise my children traditionally
the oldest will have a ruinous military career and develop a tendency to recklessness, alcoholism and anger management issues the middle one will be a brilliant student with strong atheist inclinations and casual demonic hallucinations the youngest will be an angel prone to hysteria turned tsaricide by circumstances
is this about malcolm in the middle

The thing nobody tells you about self-depreciation is that it’s a gateway drug to making other people feel shitty about themselves.
You think you’re only hurting yourself with your crappy self talk but if I complain about how bad my writing/stories are on main, say they’re garbage or that I don’t understand why anyone would read them, then what does that say about the people who love them? I’m a popular writer in my fandom and I know that objectively, I’m a good writer. If I call myself shit, then how are people going to think I feel about their work?
Making anything is hard and we all complain, but I think it’s important to differentiate between “I think this is genuinely bad” and “I think things about this need to be reworked to be better” and “I hate everything so I need to go eat something” and tweak what you do about it accordingly.
Sometimes that means tweaking your audience and sometimes it means keeping that shit to yourself entirely.
I have said it before and I will say it again. Making something, creating any form of art no matter the medium is a tremendous act of bravery. You didn’t destroy, you created. You made a whole new thing, in a world that doesn’t particularly embrace that.
You committed bravery in creation. Don’t tear it down. Because you aren’t just tearing yourself down (which you shouldn’t do anyways). You might be convincing another person out there to not even try when you do this.
no caption I just love them
been replaying breath of the wild 🌱💕
i just bought this copy of little women and found this inside. i love it when books have inscriptions, it makes them feel that little bit more personal
We had an interaction assignment, and GUESS WHAT I DID!!!
When characters have to fight living embodiments of their worst fears that shit must be mad therapeutic.
Saving money on a therapist by just traveling to Silent Hill and kicking the shit out of my personal demons there
