When I was 13, I was given an ultimatum: Either watch Saw 1 - 3, or get beaten to a bloody pulp. Long story short, both those things happened, and since then, my anxiety is exacerbated even by mention of horror films, especially Saw.

Now, in the space of two months, I watched Hellraisers, The Cube and The Conjuring, all against my will. The films themselves weren't too bad, but I still suffer all the way through a film, because I'm still expecting the real horror - that I am going to cop another beating.

So, yeah, don't force people into watch-- Actually, don't force people into doing ANYTHING they don't want to do!!
