Could you please make another replaced MC au? I really loved the first one❤
ask and you shall receive 😈😈
main idea is from my old account but with some touches and more plot
btw this don’t align w the bible this is my om! heaven ranks in here
replaced au mc who did indeed love the brothers, royals, and purgatory boys once and was devastated when they came to the realization they had been replaced.
first it was just cancelling hang outs and dates, saying they promised r/n they would spend time together even though you have had this planned for weeks.
then it was was comparing you to them, saying how r/n has such perfect grades and everyone likes them, what happened to you?
and lastly it was threatening and insulting you when you tried to spend time with them again, being threatened that they would eat you, saying that you should stay out of their business, quite like your first time in the devildom all those years ago.
you had lost the only people who gave you purpose, the only real reason for you to continue living. you had nothing to go back to in the human world, no family, since your family had died long ago. not even a home anymore. no friends. nothing.
there was no need for pacts anymore, they were useless, for when you were in actual danger, no one came to your call.
so you got rid of them. all by yourself. it was painful, you were in agony for days, not that anyone noticed. they were all too busy with the new exchange student.
and then, since you had nothing to live for, that fateful night, you took your own life.
it was a short, but painful death. you jumped off a cliff. in your final moments though, you saw heartfelt memories of your loved ones. your mother and father/sibling(s), your friends. such happy memories.
then came the darker memories, memories of a certain set of brothers and an exchange program that took you away from the people you loved.
then, just white.
you woke up in a bright place in front of an open gate. you trudged forward through the gate, and saw the one and only, who the brothers called, father.
he told you he knew you were strong, and that’s why he let you into celestial. he said you could repent for your time with those demons, all you had to do was follow his orders.
and, you did just that.
your wings went from a dark grey, to a glowing, blissful white. your halo shimmering a bright golden sunset color.
you went from being an ordinary angel, all the way to an archangel comparable to michael himself.
then you became even stronger. even more powerful.
due to your strong ambitions and long-lasting good will, you were given the second strongest rank to father himself;
the holder of the seven virtues.
you thanked father profusely for this position of power and swore your undying loyalty to him.
now, with your new position, you helped run the entirety of the celestial realm.
you had asked the angels to just refer to you as “xeythus” from now on, not holder, or higher up.
a bit after your new ranking was bestowed to you, the devildom decided since they had three human participants in the exchange program, it was time for another angel student.
father thought it would be a good idea for you to go, to see how things were down there. it would be a good look for the celestial realm if you, the highest ranking angel below god, did good down there.
this is about two years after your mysterious disappearance. you disappeared without a trace from the devildom. everyone just assumed you went back to the human realm, finding nothing for you in the devildom. but when diavolo looked for traces of you in the human world, there was no information on you. no death date, no nothing. it was like you didn’t even exist. then again, they just assumed you went off the grid.
the brothers felt guilty for driving you away, but just filled the hole in their heart with r/n. or atleast they thought they did.
deep down, they knew they were just trying to fill the void you left when you disappeared. knowing that it would never work.
now, back to the present. simeon had heard of this new holder of the virtues but didn’t know who they were. all he knew was that the angels liked to call them “xeythus”. luke had heard lots of them, and now looked up to them, maybe even more than michael, after he heard how they had dark wings and managed to clear their name and climb the ranks by doing good. and he was so excited to finally meet them as an exchange student!
the day finally came when the new exchange student would come. the brothers and r/n were in their respective seats, with r/n in your old seat, while diavolo and barbatos stood near where the portal was supposed to show up. the purgatory hall boys didn’t have to be there, but luke was so excited to meet this higher up that they basically had to go.
the room went silent as a blinding golden light appeared where the portal was. the portal was about seven feet off the ground, with seven clear steps each with a sigil of one of the virtues on it leading down to diavolo and barbatos.
a hooded figure steps out onto the first step. they wear a flowy cape with a sleeveless turquoise green shirt that has each of the seven virtue sigils on it. their pants are white and fade into a blue sky with constellations in it. as the figure goes to step on the second step, the previous one turns into a sparkly golden color before fading away. this happened with each of the five next steps until the final seventh step fades and the portal closes into a mist of turquoise green.
”hello! I am diavolo, future demon king of the devildom! welcome!” the very familiar redhead introduces himself, not knowing that you indeed know him very dearly.
you gently pull your hood down and shake you hair around, it flowing gracefully around you as people around the room recognize you.
“why, hello diavolo. I am xeythus mc, the holder of the seven virtues, and greatest helper to father.” you decide to also introduce yourself, to help some people recover from shock and realize that it indeed is you.
mc, the second, or first, human exchange student who disappeared two years ago without a trace.
”m-mc..?!” a familiar tan cloud haired man calls out.
you turn around to see many familiar shocked faces, the one that spoke being mammon.
“it is xeythus, avatar of greed. if you would please call me by that?” you smile sweetly, grin full of nothing but pure genuine kindness.
now they knew that they could never get you back, for you swore your undying loyalty to their worst enemy.
(I really like this one! feel free to use the idea, and please, tag in it if you do! I would like to see!)
CW: arguments, implied violence, angst with no happy ending
(Katsuki Bakugo x Reader)
yelling. screaming. a vase shattered on the now soaked carpet, withering flowers scattered amongst the shards threatening to stab whoever dared step on them, either by accident or not. hair pulled, another unfortunate object thrown at the ground, accompanied with frustrated comments about whatever topic you two were arguing over now. none of you even bother to remember, the small inconvenience having trailed over to the same problem bothering the both of you.
falling into the same rhythm. same routine, something both of you are starting to find repetitive, annoying… unneeded. for some odd reason, though, you can’t stop yourselves.
bakugo’s heart is thriving for you, aching due to all the yelling that’s coming from his throat, which is getting raw despite all the sessions he has with the villains, where his signature “DIE!” is just as powerfully spoken. he doesn’t want this, where did he go wrong with this relationship.
you’re completely unfazed by the loud tone in itself, no. what triggers you is the audacity of keeping that hardheaded attitude while the bastard knows that you’re right about this situation. you’re also absolutely pressed over the fact that this man, this very person in front of you had the power to bury that second year soft boy you fell in love with and leave only the hard shell out for you to see. It’s not that he didn’t love you, quite the contrary (at least according to him), but he didn’t show you his rawest side anymore.
unlike you.
and your emotions and feelings finally slip in the number one spot, finally outranking your win-obsessed husband as you shut up and let him yell.
you turn away and leave. you can hear the screams descending to something akin to confusion before it picks up again, this time the tonality grasping a type of despair you could’ve sworn only existed in movies. but you can’t do this to yourself anymore. you need to leave.
“Farewell, Katsuki Bakugo.”
you ignore the wails and screams and the begging as he tries to scoop back in his arms the one thing that mattered the most in his heart, yet never stopped to offer the affection and love that was needed.
Hi. Im sorry for bothering you. Can you please write a bakugou x gn reader where he witnesses reader being abused by their mother and rescues them. Please and Thank you. I apologize for the inconvenience

Ten years old.
Ten years old was how old Bakugou was when his classmate Y/n L/n had disappeared. Until, of course, when their body was found in a ditch only days after their disappearance. He remembered the last time he saw them on his way home. He remembered the way the snow fell harshly that day. And most of all, he remembered their red coat. The way they wrapped it closer around their body to preserve the little warmth it provided.
If only he had called out to you that day, he might’ve saved your life.
—
“Hey, Kacchan! Wait, I’m about to go out too. Be back soon, Mister!” Bakugou grunted and his usual frown grew deeper at the sound of the fluffy green-headed boy. The overly worked manager merely waved them off as Midoriya ecstatically talked to Bakugou, frequently asking questions that got no answers in return from the blond. “Just do your fucking job, Deku.”
The harsh nickname did little to nothing to put a damper on Midoriya’s mood as he ran out to the identical motorbike just a few feet away from Bakugou’s. “Hey Bakugou, do you have a dream?” Bakugou looked up at the freckled boy and furrowed his eyebrows. “The fuck are you talking about?” Midoriya only grinned as Bakugou started the bike.
“Well, you know, something that you actually want to do. I’m sure deep down you have a bigger dream than just delivering pizzas.” Of course Bakugou had bigger dreams, he always did, but he couldn’t just pick and choose what he wanted to do in life that easily. The interview from only a mere two weeks ago had proved it.
“I’m sorry Mr. Bakugou but I’m afraid that your quirk is just too violent for this occupation.” The black haired man had folded his hands sentimentally as Bakugou sat there. Violent? For a hero? “What the fuck do you mean violent?” He shouldn’t have asked. He shouldn’t have cussed. After flipping over two burnt desks and destroying the copy machine, Bakugou was banned for life from the building.
The motorbike rumbled beneath him and the wind ruffled the grey material of the wind breaker he wore. Although sunny, Bakugou just couldn’t find it in himself to radiate the same energy. Stopping at a stoplight, Bakugou surveyed his surroundings until the sound of crashing was caught in his ears. Looking ahead, he could see how the cars were being tossed to the side by a large truck. A chill ran up his spine.
“Shit.” Bakugou didn’t waste any time propelling himself off the motorbike and onto the hood of the truck. “Hey! Wake up, bastard!” He banged his fist against the wind shield but to no avail, the driver’s body stayed limp. Grunting, Bakugou reached through the open window on the side and swerved the steering wheel just in time to avoid the small boy who had been crossing the road simultaneously.
He took a breath of relief, until he wasn’t breathing at all and the only sound left was the collision of the truck and another car.
—
Beep. Beep. Beep.
How long had it been? Where is he? Why is it so fucking cold? Bakugou peeled his eyes open slowly to see the white ceiling of a place that definitely wasn’t his room. He realized that the sound of beeping was still sounding in his ear and remembered.
Delivering pizza, the unconscious truck driver, the car crash just after he had saved the little boy’s life. Even if he had done that much good, he knew there was going to be a backlash. He’d have to pay for the damage, as well as paying the fines for using his quirk without a license. Bakugou groaned inwardly. He barely made enough to get groceries but his pride, much too big, wouldn’t let him ask for help.
“Oh, Kacchan! You’re awake.” Of course he was here. Why did Midoriya even bother to attempt to build an igloo of friendship when all Bakugou wanted to do was go back into the welcoming warmth of the cabin next door? “That was so cool! I didn’t even know you had a quirk like that. If you wanted to, you could probably become a pro-hero like All Might.”
The word ‘hero’ made Bakugou tense up but before Midoriya could notice, he was already over it. “Yeah, whatever.” Midoriya had taken a seat by the bed as Bakugou slowly sat up. He had shut down Midoriya immediately as soon as he saw that he was going to offer a hand, and so they sat there in silence.
Looking at the emerald green boy, it made Bakugou wonder what exactly Midoriya saw in him that made him want to befriend Bakugou. He’d be lying if he said that he didn’t appreciate it, not that he would ever admit. Bakugou’s friends were all off doing their own things, making their mark in the world. And where was Bakugou? Stuck delivering pizzas with a guy that was the same age as him.
Maybe if there was something he did in the past, something he could go back and change, maybe he wouldn’t be like this. He wouldn’t be stuck. Of course there was no such thing as time travel though. The ridiculous thought made Bakugou chuckle, one that made fear strike through Midoriya’s chest. “Bakugou, are you okay? The doctor said your head was fine but if you need to get it check out, I can—”
“I’m fine, nerd. Just get me outta here.” Bakugou pulled the thin covers off and swung his legs over the side of the cot. The cold air flowed through the hospital gown, making him feel naked in front of the boy. Well, he practically was until Midoriya handed him his previous change of clothes. “The hospital called your mom by the way. She stopped by a few times.”
Bakugou could hear the muffled voice of the boy through the bathroom door and slightly groaned with irritation. He hadn't seen the old hag in weeks, only communicating through brief phone calls and occasional texts. “How long was I out anyways?” Bakugou walked out in a plain black shirt and jeans, arranging the cot neatly before calling for the nurse.
“About two days.” Two days wasted. Bakugou’s mood turned brooding as the nurse continued to check his vitals before declaring that he was free to go. With his belongings in check, Bakugou made a small stop by the pizza place before finally heading back home. “Bye Kacchan! Get home safe!” Bakugou, disgruntled, dismissed himself until he was standing in the doorway of his apartment, watching as his mother made herself at home with a beer in hand.
“Katsuki! Why didn’t you call me? I could’ve picked you up from the hospital.” Mitsuki moaned in protest until Bakugou rolled his eyes in response. “Hey, don’t roll your eyes at your mother. It’s rude.” Bakugou went into his routine as he started to arrange his room for him to change into a new pair of clothes. “It’s also rude to drink someone’s alcohol.”
Mitsuki glowered at the television in front of her quietly, leaving Bakugou to change in peace. “Hey brat, you need to go shopping. There’s barely anything in the fridge. Do you even eat?” Even through the harsh tone, Bakugou could hear the concern of his mother. You could say that it was a love-hate relationship.
“I’ll go in a bit.” Bakugou came out in an almost identical black outfit from before and stumbled around the kitchen for a glass of water. “Nonsense, I’ll go with you. I’ll even pay since I did drink your beer.”
—
Walking out of the store with bags in both hands, Bakugou continued to be unresponsive to his mother’s concerns until a chill was sent up his spine. “Hey, look around. There’s something wrong.” Mitsuki stopped talking, confused but looked around anyways. “What am I looking for exactly?” Bakugou couldn’t say. But he knew this feeling well, and every time he chose to ignore it, the outcome was never good.
“Just, look. Something feels off.” The plastic of the bags made a crease in the curve of Bakugou’s fingers as the weight seemed to grow more than he could bear. There was something going on, he just had to find it. The anxiety was starting up like a motor in his gut, ready to burst until Mitsuki had spoken again.
“You know, you’ve said this to me before. At first, I thought it might’ve been a fluke but you ended up preventing a potential fire.” The one time he had hinted at the small gift to his mother. Most of the time, he was alone. The job had been left to Bakugou, ever since he learned how to talk, by whoever decided to bestow it upon him.
Bakugou couldn’t exactly say it was a quirk, nor a talent, it was a gut feeling. But that gut feeling had taken him very far except for the one time it failed him miserably. Y/n L/n. He knew deep down, he could have prevented your tragic death. There were even signs that they might have been abused at home too as they would often come to school with bruises, saying some stupid excuse like falling down the stairs or tripping.
Stupid. He should’ve asked them if they were okay, talked to them, reached out to them. But now they were dead, six feet under the ground. Mitsuki looked around the parking lot of the store until she spotted a man holding onto the hand of a little girl. While the girl smiled obliviously at the man dressed in a trench coat, even with it being almost seventy degrees out, the man led the girl away to the side of the road before catching Mitsuki’s eyes.
There it was. Mitsuki took out her phone and watched as the man led the little girl behind what was presumably his car before driving away, the little girl noticeably left behind on the side of the road. Mitsuki snapped a picture of the license plate in time before the car was out of sight and watched the little girl until a young woman, her mother, found her and took her away.
“Was that it?” Bakugou noticed the way his mother had quieted down, something she never did willingly unless it was important. She nodded, still quiet before walking on. Bakugou, for the first time in months, walked behind her wondering what it was that made his feral mother so quiet.
—
“Glad you’re feeling better, Bakugou.” Bakugou nodded respectively to his manager who sat at a table in the back room. “Going out to deliver, be back soon.” Strapping the box onto the motor bike, Bakugou heard Midoriya call out for him from inside the store. “Kacchan! Are you going out to deliver now?” Bakugou couldn’t tell where the nickname came from but wherever it did, it was stupid to Bakugou either way.
“What do you want, Deku?” Bakugou swung one leg over the seat of the bike and started the motor, half listening to what the green boy was saying until he caught wind of his mother’s name and dinner. “You going out with my mom, Deku?” Bakugou snarled as Midoriya, once again, felt fear strike a spear through his chest as he stuttered. “No! No, that’s not what I meant. I mean, she invited me to have dinner with you guys tonight.”
It must’ve shown on his face that Bakugou was confused since Midoriya was confident enough to chuckle. “We talked a few times when she visited the hospital. We kinda watched over you in shifts.” Midoriya put a finger to his chin thoughtfully, remembering a few stories Mitsuki had told him of how Bakugou was in his childhood. “I don’t need you to fucking watch over me.” Bakugou grumbled.
“Well, luckily, not anymore!” Midoriya’s grin was brighter than a car’s headlights as Bakugou left him in the dust. And as said, Midoriya had also walked back to Bakugou’s house with him, the smell of a home-cooked meal wafering in the air. “Wow, Mrs. Bakugou. This is really good.” Despite his compliment, Midoriya was red in the face as the spice had gotten to him the moment his tongue touched the spoon.
Over the course of dinner, Mitsuki and Midoriya had done the majority of the talking with Bakugou adding comments of his own. “Thank you for having me. The food was really good.” Midoriya grinned as Mitsuki warmly welcomed him into her arms, something she never did with Bakugou. It’s not like he would’ve allowed her to hug him either way, unless he was unconscious.
—
“Goodbye, Kacchan! Get home safe.” The emerald green boy had waved Bakugou off with a smile until the blond was a mere figure in the distance. Walking back into the shop, Midoriya noticed something on the table by the window. ‘It must be Kacchan’s’. Lowering the book back onto the table, Midoriya got ready to take his own leave.
She had even left the front door open. “Oi, Old Hag.” Bakugou called out into the apartment at the sight of how messy it was when he arrived. No response. Bakugou toed his shoes off and slid the dining room door open to reveal Mitsuki. Mitsuki who was covered in her own blood as she laid on her side, the handle of a kitchen knife sticking out of her stomach. “.....Mom?”
Mitsuki’s eyes were wide open, staring into the empty space in front of her, not that she was alive to know. Bending down, Bakugou turned Mitsuki onto her back, shaking her body for her to wake up, to wake up and tell him that it was just some stupid prank. Begging and crying for her to just..... wake up.
“Mom. Mom!” Bakugou’s vision started getting blurry. He was crying. He supposed that this could be an obvious exception. Even if this was just a stupid prank, right? This was just a joke that he obviously didn’t find funny as Bakugou wailed out in frustration, anger, and despair. His mother was gone.
Maybe if he took the knife out of her stomach, she would heal better. Yes, she could still live. Bakugou grabbed the black handle and slid the knife out of her stomach until he could see the deep crimson of the blood glinting in the light of the apartment. But slowly, he backed away. She wasn’t waking up. This was real. Mitsuki was.....
“AHH!” The front door was still open. Bakugou heard the clashing of a metal pot hitting the ground as his neighbor stood, frightened. The poor woman had only wanted to share her extra curry. Bakugou dropped the knife and once it hit the floor with a clang, the woman ran for the phone to call the police while Bakugou ran for his life.
“Hey, stop right there!” That was fast. Bakugou looked behind him to see two cop cars that had pulled into the parking lot of the building. “That’s him! He killed his own mother!” Damn neighbor. Bakugou ran through the streets of the bustling town with no doubt on his mind that the police were looking for him everywhere.
Where could he go? Who did he know? No one. At least no one who would trust him more than the police. Bakugou hurried along, spotting an officer and crossing the street on a whim. Bumping into someone, Bakugou didn’t have time to turn back and apologize. He didn’t even try to blend in with the pedestrians who walked casually, as the concrete sidewalk beneath him slowly turned into a deep black asphalt.
Snow fell around him and Bakugou shivered, bringing up his gloved hands to rub at his arms. ‘Where am I?’ A school bell rang in the distance and the excited chatters of fifth graders whispered in and out of his ears. Bakugou looked around, taking note of his new height as he realized that he was no longer an adult.
Looking forwards at the building where everybody else seemed to be going, Bakugou recognized it as his old elementary school. What was he doing here? Was he hallucinating? Dreaming? “Bakubro!” The familiar voice of a redhead called out and Bakugou turned to see four figures who were just as small as he was.
“Shitty Hair?” Kirishima frowned as Kaminari and Sero burst out laughing. Meanwhile, Mina grinned in all her pink glory. “Bakubro, you know you’re not allowed to cuss.” Kirishima pouted until Mina and Sero went to comfort him. Kaminari had made his way over to Bakugou’s side, his honey blond hair smushed down against his skull with the help of a beanie.
“Ya know Kacchan, I wouldn’t mind if you taught me a few of those words.” There it was, that annoying nickname. Maybe Dunce Face and Deku knew each other. Other than that, Kaminari was just as annoying as Bakugou remembered. Mina had left Kirishima under Sero’s watch to pinch Bakugou’s cheek as he yelped in pain. “That’s for calling Kirishima a bad word.”
But slowly leaning in, Mina whispered her additional request for Bakugou to teach her curse words until the pale blond shoved them both away from his body. “Let’s just go to class, idiots.” Pain, he had felt it when Mina pinched him. This was real. After only minutes of pouting, Kirishima was back to his normal cheery self as they all sat down, right before the bell rang.
Except for Bakugou. Fifth grade, where was his assigned seat? It had been so long, Bakugou would have never thought that he would’ve needed the knowledge of knowing where his seat was in the fifth grade until now. “Bakugou, you have to sit down.” His teacher, what was his name again? Bakugou looked in the corner of the black board and spotted the name.
“Uh, right. Sorry, Mr. Aizawa.” Bakugou shuffled around, finding an empty seat until a classmate pointed out that it was L/n’s seat. Bakugou paused at the sound of their name, a name he hadn’t heard come out of anyone’s lips for a long time. It took one more try until Bakugou was in his actual seat.
As Mr. Aizawa listed off the morning announcements, the classroom door had slid open to reveal the one and only, Y/n L/n. Bakugou sat, stunned. Clad in their signature red winter coat and yellow scarf, you walked in, closing the door behind you. Bakugou watched as you made a beeline for the podium where Aizawa stood, before handing him what Bakugou had recognized as a late slip.
You took a seat right where Bakugou had taken his first attempt to find his own, and Bakugou’s red eyes trailed your every move until Aizawa cleared his throat, clearly calling out Bakugou. He could hear the snickers of Kirishima and Kaminari and rolled his eyes. Doing fifth grade work was easy with the mind of an adult, not that Bakugou had been struggling in the first place.
Hanging at the front of the group, Bakugou walked by himself as everyone slowly piled into the classroom before stopping abruptly at the sight of you. You were carrying a few books to give to the classroom next door but what caught Bakugou’s attention the most was the severe redness of your neck. It was like someone had grabbed you and attempted to twist your head off before realizing that it would not work.
Sero was the first to notice how fast Bakugou had stopped walking and waddled his way to the front, putting his head near Bakugou’s in an attempt to see what Bakugou was looking at. “What are we looking at?” Now all four of his friend’s heads were surrounding him until Bakugou scoffed, starting towards the classroom as he previously was.
Even with the banters behind him of what Bakugou could’ve been staring at, Bakugou knew that in his mind, he was here for one reason and one reason only. To bring you back before you went away forever.
—
“Oi, brat. Why are you crying?” Bakugou couldn’t help it. It was his mother but at the same time, it wasn’t. It was a mere flashback of her, but it was her in all her spiky blonde glory, and he wouldn’t want it any other way. “I’m not.” Bakugou had wiped his tears furiously with his small sleeve, sensing how his mother had crouched down in front of him now.
“Did something happen at school? Is there someone talking shit? Because if there is, I can and will go—” Bakugou shook his head, smiling just the tiniest bit. “No, it’s nothing.” Mitsuki liked to think that she knew her son well, well enough to know if there was something wrong. But she also raised him saying that he needed to be strong so that he wouldn’t burden anyone else. She knew it was a tough gamble but Bakugou could handle it.
Back in his childhood home, Bakugou looked around feeling comfortable with each passing second. “What should we eat tonight?” Bakugou shrugged off his winter gear and sat at the table with his backpack slouched over by the shoe compartment. Sitting at the dining table with his mother cooking felt like a distant memory, almost a dream, and his eyes became dazed over.
He called out the first thing he remembered, curry, from when his neighbor had attempted to drop off extra before calling the cops on him for supposedly killing his mother. Bakugou huffed with his cheek resting in the soft palm of his hand. Looking at the calendar, he took note that it was nearing Halloween. But three days after Halloween, on November third, you would disappear.
At best, Bakugou had about a week before Halloween but the three days after would be the real test. Getting you out of the house away from your supposed abusive mother, never leaving you alone and vulnerable, protecting you. Mitsuki had placed a plate in front of Bakugou, letting the delightful smell of the curry mixed with a few spices, drift to him. “If there’s anything bothering you, you can tell me, okay?” Bakugou nodded, munching on the food. “Okay.”
—
A bruise on your cheek. It was one of those rare days when you would come in sporting the beat-up look in front of the whole class. Bakugou narrowed his eyes on the light purple spot as if his glare alone would make it disappear. He was going to talk to you today, and you were going to be his friend. Then and only then, would he have a good excuse to be around you all the time.
The last bell rang and Bakugou watched as you packed up quickly, pulling your red coat tight around you before walking out of the building. Bakugou was now shoving a majority of his papers into his bag now as he hurried to catch up to you. It would take a while for either of you to warm up to each other so he had to get close to you as soon as possible.
“Wait! L/n!” He had managed to catch up to you just as you were descending down the stairs of a bridge stretched across a dried river. You turned to look at who had called for you, only to be surprised to see Bakugou holding out his hand to you before he dropped it. “Um, w-where are you going?” You furrowed your eyebrows at the question but answered anyway. “I’m going home.”
That wasn’t good. There was no way spending all that time at home, where your mother was, was good. “Right, uh, d-do you want to go somewhere?” That was the second time you had heard Bakugou stutter in all the years you had known him since preschool. “Why are you asking me all of a sudden?”
Bakugou shifted from one foot to the other, suddenly getting shy and looking away with hands shoved into his pockets. “Well, you’re always alone anyways. Why don’t we go to... uh, to the gym?” He doubted that you would willingly play sports, especially with his reputation of playing rough. “Recreation center and we have a deal.”
You noticed how his face had lifted and got noticeably brighter at your offer before he realized what he was doing. “Uh, yeah, fine.” His usual frown had returned to his lips and it gave you the slightest bit of hope, that maybe, just maybe, you might be able to keep him as a friend for a little while before your mother found out.
—
“You’re coming right?” Bakugou watched as Kirishima excitedly explained all the details of his Halloween party that was to be held tomorrow night on a Saturday. For Bakugou, it was the perfect excuse to keep you out late, even though you were only ten years old.
You seemed reluctant and Bakugou took it as his cue to butt in. “Just come. You know you want to.” Almost as if he was teasing you, you looked away with slightly heated cheeks before nodding. “Okay, I’ll be there.” Kirishima cheered and ran off to his friends while you took the time to look at the hand-made card. Costume. You never had one before.
Your smile shriveled and Bakugou only stood as he observed you. “What’s wrong, dummy?” Since he was supposed to be in the fifth grade, Bakugou had to pull out the classics with name-calling. “Oh, it’s just that I don’t really have a costume.” You turned away and tucked the card into the pocket of your coat.
Were you not going to the party anymore? Because of something as simple as a costume? “I’m not wearing one.” He wouldn’t be caught in some cheesy costume unless it was over his dead body anyway. Even if he was his ten year old self, he still felt too old for costumes. “Really?” It seemed to have lightened your mood so he nodded.
“Who needs costumes anyways?”
—
It was raining. It was late. Bakugou looked over to where you stood beside him, your hands hovering near each other. “Just sleepover. It’s too cold to walk in the rain.” He got you back inside where it was warm and closed the door. Mitsuki made a call to your mother, a bit hesitant at the initial response when Mitsuki had first told her that you would be sleeping over. It was obvious to Mitsuki that something was going on in your home.
“Okay. Y/n, why don’t you shower first and I’ll get you some clothes for when you finish, okay?” You nodded timidly and shuffled into the washroom to do as told. Bakugou waited at the dining table, pulling out an old All Might comic he forgot he had. He remembered his longing to be a hero just like his role model, ever since he was a child, right up until the point where they had rejected him for having a quirk he was born with. He might as well have been called quirkless.
“Here, I’ll help you dry your hair.” Bakugou’s eyes left the comic and drifted over to you where the tufts of your damp hair were getting tossed all over from Mitsuki attempting to get most of the water out. “Brat! Your turn.” Bakugou scowled at the nickname, eyes slightly softening as he passed you and gave a subtle nod. For one of the first times, you had smiled. It was small, but it was there.
Settling into bed was a bit more awkward than Bakugou had initially thought it would be. With his mother in the middle, Bakugou felt unnerved not being able to see you, to know that you were safe next to him. Every time Bakugou looked to his right where you should have been, he was met with his mother’s side profile as you all laid on your backs. With only the sound of your breathing as a reassurance, Bakugou fell asleep unwillingly.
Was this... breakfast? You were the last to wake up, seeing Bakugou sitting at the dining table while Mitsuki prepared your meals for the day. “Oh! Just in time, come eat, Y/n.” Mitsuki had called you over and you sat at the dining table, expecting to see a couple of coins to buy something from the convenience store or a cup of instant ramen, not a home-cooked omelet.
Before you could stop them, tears started to pour out at the beautiful sight. Is this what it would’ve been like if your mother had actually cared to cook for you? Or even care for you at all? You brought your hands up to your cheeks, embarrassed to be crying at the sight of something so mundane yet so foreign to you.
That’s when Mitsuki knew. Something was going on at home and it wasn’t good. She came around the dining table to where you sat, giving you the best side hug she could give. Bakugou watched as the tears rolled down your face slowly and was even tempted to give you a hug too.
He never would have realized how neglected you actually were with the case of taking care of yourself. For all he knew, you may have never had a proper meal up until now. But seeing you cry at such a heavenly sight only boosted Bakugou’s determination to save you. He had to save you.
—
The snow fell harshly, your red coat was wrapped tight around your body, your last day alive. But not under Bakugou’s watch. “Hey.” You turned, the wind was brutal as your locks swayed this way and that. Bakugou walked up to where you stood in the small park. “Let’s go home.” You looked at his slightly outstretched hand and slowly slid your own into his.
It was funny. Thinking how close you had gotten in such a short time span. You were even able to go to your first Halloween party because of him and had the best time of your life. You weren’t exactly sure if you had ever been this happy before, but you didn’t want the feeling to go away. You didn’t want him to go away.
Walking back, Bakugou noticed that you had forgotten your gloves. He brought you under the fawning of a closed up shop and slid his own off. “Here, just use these for now.” You smiled softly at the gesture and nodded. You didn’t want to go home today. Your mother’s mood was worse than ever before and you remember the stinging pain of when she had hit you multiple times that morning.
You wished that you could sleepover at Bakugou’s house again, but you didn’t want to overstay your visit. You wanted to stay in the park, where no one would hurt you. But if Bakugou was there by your side, you supposed going home would be worth spending time with him.
The lights were on. You shivered, but not from the cold. You took out your spare key to open the door and could see your mother’s boyfriend, who was just as bad as her, sitting on the couch with a beer in hand. “Where the fuck have you been, you little shit?” You clenched your jaw in worry that Bakugou would hear. Closing the front door slightly, you thanked him for walking you home before sliding off his gloves to give back.
“Keep them.” You looked up in surprise but Bakugou only gave you a rare smile in return. “You can just give them back to me tomorrow.” Bakugou knew you weren’t supposed to be here tomorrow, but you will be. He knew his ten year old self would probably stir up trouble by staying out all night but it was the only way.
“Goodnight.” He stayed until you closed the front door before walking around the side of your house. Checking his All Might wrist watch, he took note of how late in the night it had become. He had about half an hour before his mother would start getting suspicious. He creeped over to the fence door that led to the back of the house just in time to hear your cries.
“You little good-for-nothing bitch! Where the hell were you?! Taking my money for fucking granted when I give a roof over your head! You’re so fucking ungrateful!” Bakugou was left stupefied, standing under a cracked open window where he could hear your mother’s words. The mental strength you had must’ve been strong to bear something like this, especially when it was from your own mother.
He heard the strike of skin hitting skin multiple times with quiet grunts of pain coming from you. Running around the fence, he managed to avoid being spotted by your mother as she dragged your body, void of any protection from the cold wintertide, and threw it onto the ground of a small shed before leaving you there unconscious.
Bakugou waited two minutes after your mother had disappeared back into your house before walking up to the shed where you laid. New bruises were forming and old bruises with nasty shades of green and blue, were littered all over your arms and legs. If it weren’t for the plain shirt and shorts you sported, Bakugou probably could have seen the bigger bruises on your stomach and back.
Bakugou shrugged off his coat fast, looking around for anyone else and looking back at the house to see a man distracted by the television in the living room. He only had minutes, maybe even seconds, before your mother came back out. Bakugou threw his coat over your body and lifted you into his arms. He turned, only to be faced with the tall figure that was your mother.
“And what the hell do you think you’re doing with my child?” Ah, shit. With no time to talk, Bakugou set off his quirk, although not as powerful, and ran out the gate towards home. Instead of chasing him like he would’ve thought, your mother instead stumbled towards the house after getting clear of the smoke from his explosions.
“Katsuki! Where the hell have you been? I’ve been calling everyone around the neighborhood—” Mitsuki stopped at the sight of you and her motherly instincts had kicked in. “Go get a change of clothes for the both of you. You need to warm up right away.” Mitsuki had to be fast before you caught something major like hypothermia.
She took matters into her own hands and helped you wash up as your consciousness was fading in and out. The last thing you had remembered was your mother beating you terribly before Bakugou intervened and took you back to his own home. As Bakugou took his turn in the washroom, Mitsuki covered you in thick blankets and had you drink warm water.
“Y/n, I need you to tell me what happened.” Mitsuki had spoken after a moment of silence. The sound of the water spraying in the washroom was muted in the background as you told her everything. There was never a day you remembered when your mother hadn’t hit you before shoving you face first in cold water to get rid of the bruises before you went to school.
Dinner was silent with only the quiet voice of Bakugou’s mother as she talked to Child Protective Services. You and Bakugou sat in the shared sleeping area with a blanket wrapped around both of your shoulders. This wasn’t the first time CPS came to your house. Everyone had suspected that something was going on in the L/n house but there was never enough evidence to place an arrest on your mother, not until now.
Bakugou did his best to stay awake until he was sure that your breathing had become steady. His assumptions were confirmed when he heard Mitsuki whisper into the dark. “You did a good thing, Katsuki.” He hoped so. The feeling of guilt, knowing you could have saved someone, was something that had haunted Bakugou all his life. But maybe, just maybe, he might have spared an immense pain for the both of you tonight.
—
“Hello, I’m your grandmother.” You stood in the frame of the Bakugou’s front door with only your backpack in hand. You didn’t have much, nor did you need much. You looked back at where the spiky blond boy stood with his mother. You did need him, but you knew that was too much to ask for. Turning back to your grandmother, you could see the slight resemblance between the two.
“I’m Y/n L/n.” You introduced yourself with an attempt at a small friendly smile. Your grandmother had helped you pack into the backseat of her car, but not before you said your goodbyes. Rushing up to Bakugou, you wrapped your arms around his neck with a smile only Mitsuki could see from behind. “Thank you, Bakugou.”
After a few seconds of embracing each other, you pulled back and started to dig something out of your pocket. Bakugou caught sight of orange as you pulled out a pair of knitted gloves. “Sorry I couldn’t return your old ones. So, I thought I’d make you a pair.” It was difficult to find time to make them when you weren’t with Bakugou but the smile on his face was all worth it in the end.
He slipped them on and held them up for you to see. “Fits like a glove.” You grinned and laughed before you remembered the dire situation at hand. You didn’t know when you would be able to visit him, if ever. And it was going to be hard to leave him behind since you had gotten used to living a somewhat normal life in the Bakugou household.
“Hey,” You looked him in the eyes. “Don’t act like we won’t see each other ever again, dummy.” His words gave you hope for the umpteenth time. You wanted to smile, to say ‘yes, we’ll see each other again’, but that wasn’t how the world worked. Bakugou took off the gloves to wipe your tears, clicking his tongue. “Why are you crying, idiot?” You shook your head, the glistening tears on your cheeks contrasting greatly against the smile on your face.
“Thank you, Katsuki.”
Extra:
His gauntlets seemed lighter today, as if something good was going to happen. Bakugou walked the cold streets of town, people dressed up in thick winter coats and fur-lined boots. Bakugou dug his nose deeper into the turtleneck of his winter costume, a visible breath of air coming out like a small cloud.
“Somebody help! Someone’s shooting up the hospital!” At the cry of a pedestrian, Bakugou launched himself into action, getting to the only hospital in town fairly quickly. “Shit, shit, shit.” He ran in to see only a single person with a gun in hand, their free arm wrapped around a nurse’s neck. “Don’t get any closer! I’ll shoot someone, I swear!”
It seemed like the shooter had yet to notice Bakugou but what Bakugou did notice was the form of the gun. A spray-painted water gun. An admittedly tired sigh escaped Bakugou as he plainly walked up. The guy had now seen Bakugou and pointed the water gun at his chest.
“Stop! I-i’ll shoot you.” The statement made Bakugou scoff. Maybe he seemed relaxed but the nurse was starting to turn blue with their lack of air. Holding out his palm, Bakugou got his quirk ready to take down the guy, until he realized the guy had already collapsed to the ground.
A doctor with a head of h/c hair dropped the metal bat to the ground and immediately went to tend to the nurse. More doctors had come and after you were sure that the nurse was okay and breathing, you realized that you had just stolen the spotlight from the pro-hero in front of you.
“Oh my goodness, I’m so sorry. I just thought it’d be faster that way.” Swooping a stray strand of hair out of your face, you paused as you made eye contact with the spiky blond. It was like time had stopped. You knew him, and he knew you. Bakugou thought he was dreaming. That’s when he remembered the times.
Soooo, a friend and I were discussing about MHA and we brought up the idea of dancing. We tried to think who would’ve taken ballet classes in the past (or would’ve been forced to, anyhow).
What would you like to see of my account? I’m fairly new and would like to try different stuff in here, be it fanart, Q&As, oneshots or even some sort of series? 🤷🏻♀️
I’m new to Tumblr and would like to make new friends here and have fun!💜
Question question: if you still do MHA match-ups (I’m legit a noob with Tumblr), could I ask for one? I’m 5’8”, straight female, Sagittarius, medium length brown hair and matching eyes. I’m usually pretty shy, can’t strike a conversation easily but once I’m pretty comfortable with the one I’m talking to, I can become a complete crackhead. I love sweets (cupcakes and chocolate cake), as well as pasta & lasagna. I highkey care about my family and close friends, attack them and you’re dead.
I PAIR U W/ HITOSHI SHINSO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!,
I think you two would be sweet together because both of you seem shy first impression but snarky underneath that introvert persona. He would also spoil you with all the treats you want, maybe even get some for himself. He respects your defensive attitude because he appreciated someone who would protect him at all costs and him, of course, doing the same back.
You’re shorter than him and he will brag about it from hell and back, even though it’s only an inch of difference. He has purple hair and matching eyes when you have the same with brown hair so you guys just call each other “Purple” and “Brown” as a nickname sometimes.
This dude is highkey touch-deprived and will seek you for comfort when he feels down or useless. You guys express emotion towards each other just by loving touches and embraces rather than flirting or smooth pickup lines.
You guys met during the sports festival. You were in Class 1A and marveled at Shinso’s talent. You rooted for him until Midoriya beat him. It was a little disappointing for you to not see more of his incredible Quirk and due to your shy nature, you couldn’t muster the guts to approach him.
When he transferred into your class and had your first awkward conversation, and you instantly wanted to know more about him, him as well, so what did you guys do?
Dance around the topic like dumbasses of course!
The class realized your interest in each other and 50% of them being matchmakers, they “set you up” when all you did was wanna have the courage to talk to each other.
Well eventually through obvious setting up like locking you two in a closet and mistletoe when it wasn’t even Christmas, you guys finally started talking to each other a friendship and actually started hanging out. The matchmakers declared it as a success and left it at that.
So during the end of your second year, you starting thinking about people you found attractive or dateable, and the only person that appeared in you mind was Shinso.
Oops.
For the insomniac in question, it was when he saw you stand up for someone you cared about. You were so in control and radiated protectiveness as well as power. It was...a sight to see. And he was smitten.
So now, when both of you finally accepted the fact that it was fine to be around each other as yourself, it was awkward and fidgety.
The annual matchmakers of the A class (Bakusquad, even Bakugo and the girls) decided to be like, “NOPE. YOU GUYS HAVE BEEN BREAKING UP. THAT’S BAD. LETS SET THEM UP AGAIN!!!” And the endless cliché situations started “happening out of nowhere” again.
After a month of sustaining all of this pranks, you mustered every ounce of your courage and told him your true feelings one night right before curfew at his room.
He was stunned at first and stood there, not making a sound which did a number on your confidence, but you held your ground and didn’t waver,
“Um. Uh.” You broke him, sweetie.
“I-I like y-you too,” both of you was incredibly flustered and sported a soft pink hue as the class watched on inconspicuously, peeking from the hallway,
“So...”
“I-I’ll see you in class?”
“T-That would be pretty nice...”
And he placed a chaste kiss on your cheek before locking himself in his room.
You looked at the door for a second and squealed so high it could’ve probably shattered a glass cup.
The next day, you guys were a bit awkward again but somehow you guys mentally conveyed to the other to let things get back to normal.
So it did.
When the day ended, he discussed the kiss with you and you agreed on a decision that you wouldn’t date until graduation or whenever the League of Villains were finally defeated.
And when they were and everything settled down for the most part, he brought you to the roof of the school at night and did a proper confession. He was way more romantic than you took him for and you sucked it up. You “accepted” his confession and shared the long, loving kiss that was long past due.
You guys proceeded to date and every fan site was so suspicious of your relationship since Shinso was a hero that worked in the shadows and wasn’t part of the big scene.
But when you guys officially declared your status to the public, everyone was scared and excited at the same time. Scared because both of you were formidable, excited because what this duo would bring to the table was gonna be good.
(I’m so fricking sorry this is so short. I couldn’t come up w/ anything)
