Alright earthy kids listen up

don’t walk around like you do now thinking, wow, nature is so beautiful, i love stars and sunrises and sunsets and forests and morning mist and the ocean waves and animals and all of these precious unique natural beautiful things… I love them so much i go camping just to see them and post instagrams of them and wow i just love nature and then go and stand in front of a mirror and tear apart your own body and find ‘flaws’ and destroy yourself over not meeting some bizzare perfection.

We are as much (!) products of nature (!!) as sunrises and thunderstorms and butterflies and gorgeous flowing rivers and all of these things we admire and obsess over every day !!!

You do not go to forests and decide they’re not enough as a forest because one tree is out of line! You do not look at bunnies and think they’re less fluffy and amazing if they have a crooked tooth or a tail that’s a different colour to the other bunnies!!! Stop doing this to yourself because at the end of the day we’re just another bunch of crazy living things the earth has produced and so we need to think of ourselves with the same wonder with which we think of rolling hills and mountains and treetops.

The same nature we romanticize and love is within us as much as it is around us! x
