I am devastated by Liam's passing.
This is something that I didn't expect for another 60 years.
I know that he struggled with a alcohol and drug addiction, but he went to rehab last year and in his latest interactions with fans he seemed okay. But it's what they always say, isn't it? You really never know.
That addiction turned him into someone we didn't recognize and it's truly sad. He wasn't a bad person but he made a few bad decisions. It is still okay to mourn the gentle and funny man we all knew.
One Direction has been apart of my life since I was 12 years old, and I grew along side their solo careers in my twentys. I still listen to their songs when I do house chores, or just when I feel like it. It wasn't just a phase and now it will never be the same.
There will always be this bittersweet feeling when thinking about them and listening to their songs. But there are still so many happy memories attached to them and I will hold on to those.
I never had the chance to whatch them perform live and now I never will. One Direction is changed forever. A reunion at Liam's funeral is not how things were supposed to be. Either way, I will always be there for them.
It genuinely makes me so sad that it ended like this for him because I know that if he was given the chance to go back in time, he would have done it differently.
My heart aches for his son. I hope he sees one day that, despite everything, his father saved so many people and was loved by so many.
I hope everyone finds the strength to go. It is also our job now to remember him and never let his name die.
