None can save it anymore; no inquisitor or military could defeat an enemy which cares not for human rule and routine. And the healer calls out, give me one more chance. The director watches with pity or compassion, humouring the poor soul yet again. I can do this. I will do this. I can save them. Just let me try one more time! The clock turns back in a dead city, and the play begins again.

NEW FIC TIME! Tumblr isn't letting me use the normal link thing so hopefully the old fashioned embed works but!! I wrote a Pathologic AU for this year's Uchikoshi Big Bang, our protagonists are in for a fun island vacation yet again :)

been doodling some design stuff for ygo-aitsf crossover bc im feeling normal abt it... notes under the cut

from top to bottom, we have:

Amane Bakura in the sekiba high uniform! She's also got the millenium key because fun plot reasons. she's besties with iris, the joint hyperfixation on Egyptian myths goes hard. She worked really hard to study and get into sekiba, was very proud of herself for it.

Miho Nosaka, also at sekiba high! She's from one chapter of the manga/showed up only in the season 0 anime and has nothing to do with the plot of ygo but she's cute, i like her, and i think she and amane should hold hands. yuri everywhere for those with eyes to see. also she rounds out the sekiba high gang into a nice quintet, loves to chat fairytales with kizuna but also does find weird stuff cute.

Pegasus Crawford: i just think he should have an ai-ball. he gives ryuki a headache constantly. man who goes from actual psychic magic eyeball powers to pseudoscientific eyeball powers.

Cici: his ai-ball who looks suspiciously like his dead wife. she was actually like "hey i dont think this is healthy for me to look like her" and he just. "no please dont change," but they have a more sibling-ish relationship.

Tsubura Bakura: oc for ryou and amane's mom... not much to say about her other than i love her. The kanji i picked for her name can be interpreted to mean "loving eyes", which just feels fitting for an aitsf crossover lol

Misae Ryuki: not a new oc, she's always my design for the twins' mom, but I love her and wanted to draw her. Tsubura is her sister, hence the bakura twins and the ryuki twins being cousins. Her name can be interpreted to mean "Clear sight", which is another reason why i picked tsubura's name the way i did, just felt cutely matching for sisters

Yukuto Ryuki (16): y'all know this loser already i just wanted to draw him lmao. yukuto my beloved. cringefail 16 year old nerd-jock.

oh i think legends z-a has solved my "idk what to do for a pokemon au for the aitsf cast" problem finally. no spoilers for that game (partially bc im not far in lol) but the setup works well

anyways teams i've thought of before for ryuki. reasoning for the pokemon under the cut

shiny gardevoir: his starter pokemon he raised from a ralts, gifted to him by his parents (alongside yukuto's twin shiny ralts lol). She frets over him constantly lmao

shiny gallade: yukuto's pokemon. when he died, kuruto took over training. yukuto evolved it into gallade bc its literally a hero, it's cool bro. in verses where yukuto didn't die then instead they're the obligatory "twins you fight on a bridge" battle lmao dont worry abt it

absol: this pokemon has anxiety and so does he. but also having a pokemon who could sense incoming disasters would probably be really good for him.

corviknight: this is a man who would draw cool swords in his notebook as a child you can't tell me he wouldn't have at Least one pokemon chosen because it's cool. and corviknight is cool. edgy knight pokemon.

then for the undecideds:

lucario: similar to absol, a good emotional support pokemon. also a good strong fighting-steel type. lucario doesn't need to speak human words to call him on his bullshit lmao

lokix: its literally the kamen rider pokemon. enough said.

dusknoir: a ghost pokemon who ferries souls of the dead... it vibes well with him.

scizor: also vibes-based. idk i just think he'd find it cool.
