i love the implication here that nishitani hated sagawa's guts. all majima had to do to earn nishitani's loyalty was be really hot, indulge him in his freaky gay s&m shit, and show compassion for makoto. that's it.

but sagawa doesn't have (1) the sexy factor, (2) the weirdness factor, or (3) any sense of empathy for people who have been victims of the violence perpetrated by organized crime. therefore, he's not worthy of nishitani's time or attention

The way Majima gets back up—it looks to me like he’s puffing out his chest a bit, ready to defend himself/attack while staying turned sideways and staring at Jason, yet still threatening him.
