There will be a photo shoot! But you dont have to be in cosplay! You could come to hang out. 6. There will be a raffle! We will be raffling off some perler bead pride flags and art! If you will we will discuss with you what you would like. 7.please don’t attack or harass anyone. Its a park, theres gonna be kids around. 8. Please eat before or bring in something, theres no close food places and were not responsible for feeding you guys. 9. Saikoucon 2015 Homestuck Photoshoot!!

Hey Saikoustucks! The con is about three weeks away so here’s the post detailing photoshoots for the weekend!

On Friday the photoshoot will be at 4 PM, meeting on the grassy area in front of the hotel, and will be hosted by myself (dressed as Terezi) and Karkat . If we need to move due to the size of our group we will do so. Per usual, there will be time for requests (of any and all ships) at the end of the shoot!

The details of the Saturday shoot can be found here which will be at 2 PM in presumably the same area as the Friday shoot and hosted by [tumblr needed]. All details of the Saturday shoot, please refer to them.

There is a dress code but I’ve been there many times and the only thing they really enforce is the hats. As long as you wear things your parents wouldn’t mind you wearing you should be good. Wigs are fine as long as they are secure.

Free Animenext Photography

Yes you just saw the word /free/ oh my goodness. 

Hey everyone, my name is Brooke and I’m a cosplayer and con-goer. I own a nice camera and photography of the nerd variety is a hobby of mine. Last year at animenext I offered free photography for cosplayers and I got pretty good feedback for my photos. I don’t think I am talented enough to charge as of this time because I don’t have enough of what I am asking for, which is experience. Also, all I ask for is credit if your pics are posted. Some examples of my photography from previous cons is under the cut.

 Last year I gave a free for all in times, but I was pretty much miserable. This year I will be accepting these times: Friday and Saturday, 12-2ish. I will take only you, I will take you and a pal, I will take entire groups. I can be flexible with times if you ask, I can see what I can do (especially for groups, I get that finding a time for those can be tricky). If you want photography done Sunday or Thursday drop me an ask and I’ll see what I can do. Pretty much just drop me an ask for any interest whatsoever, I’m really easy going.

Animenext Homestucks!

Hey everyone! This is a post calling out to anyone cosplaying/interested in cosplaying Homestuck dancestors on Saturday evening of Animenext. Last year my friend Sarah and I ran a pretty rad dancestor shoot that looked something like this and we were super interested in having another similar shoot this year! All it would be is getting together for a bit and taking some cool group photos/gifs/etc and also some different dancestor interaction pics. Not that we have seen!! The only meetups we have on note that are coming up are on May 30th and Clovercon. However , there are almost always at least one other Homestuck at EVERY con, so be on the look out :). If anyone is going this weekend, feel free to message us!
