the futon must be your mortal enemy at this point. you roll to your left and to the right in almost worm like way trying to go deeper into the earth. you wonder if its because kinji isnt there to basically be your pillow. the brightness idea lopsided it's way into your brain as you reach out your hand to search. you peak open your eyes to using another aid in your mission to sleep comfortably before finding Kirara's side of the futon empty..?
wheres your girlfriend is all you can manage before shooting open eyes wide open now. kinji was working and while usually you and kirara would stay and keep him company while lounging around the club, but both you and kirara were tired and figured you could go home and just wait for him. you slugged your way out of bed and made your trek towards the living room trying to adjust your tired eyes to the darkness. while nearly bumping into the stacks of fashion magazines you and your girlfriend would make kinji buy so you could both giggle and wonder what to buy on your next shopping spree.
you rubbed your eyes as you found the light of kiraras salt lamp moved from its place in the bathroom to the living rooms table. the light danced in your version as you yet again adjusted your eyes to see your girlfriend your beautiful sleepy girlfriend on the couch. her feet placed into a small fold as one swayed on the edge of the couch. its then you see the small light of a cigarette? (maybe a vape or a joint? you were unsure) on the pinch of her index and middle finger.
you plopped onto the couch next to her, your eyes unmoving as you stared at her beauty. her clothes made up of a pair of kinjis boxers and you think that was your shirt you lost months ago only to find it in Kirara's part of the dresser. its not like all of you didn't share clothes though as you were currently in a pair of boy shorts underwear and kinji's tshirt fit with the few cigarettes burns on the edges. together it's as if you were putting together a whole kinji.
"ki what are you smoking?"
"kinji's vape he left it on the futon"
as if hearing her voice you were swayed to rest your head on her lap. as you made yourself comfortable you looked at Kirara's brown eyes, they were so breathtaking just as much as her contact lenses of swirls of purple.
"ki why are you awake?"
"you kept moving around like you were restless without kin-chan, so I figured i could let you get comfortable and sleep and id just come back" kirara giggled then took another pull of the vape.
"like I could sleep without my girlfriend" you shot back, slightly offended that she wouldn't stay with you but also understanding that you were kinda mean when youre sleepy and uncomfortable. and you knew if she put the wrong hand or foot on you at the wrong angle wrong way youd probably try to kick her off the futon.
"well we're here now aren't we?" she mumbled lowly, as she spoke her hand came to rest on your head threading her fingers to your cranium. you moved to make yourself more comfortable yet again wiggling like a worm.
"ki shotgun me" you spoke with lightness. it was a regular activity, another way to say kiss me or in your opinion open your soul to me let me breathe in your breath so I can be within your organs. a steady closeness. well thats what you think, kinji just thinks it hot. kirara you're unsure but you do know she enjoys it which is exactly why you're asking her.
her mumbled an agreement as she took another pull and moved down to your mouth in her lap. the light from the salt lamp made her look beautiful, the domestic nature of the entire interaction making your heart warm. you breathed in the smoke as she exhaled and let the subtle buzz work though your system as you breathed in.
"hey ki?" you spoke softly trying to not interrupt there peaceful night. "yes my star?" kirara answered back peering down at you as she moved her head towards you again. her nickname for you warmed your heart in such amazement the giddiness of the way she spoke always getting you again.
"I love you" you murmured to her. "I love you too my lucky star" she muttered back to you as she moved her lips to your own for a close mouth kiss.
