A shoot I assisted at last week. At the moment Selfridges windows are yet again the talk of the town. The windows are a fashion statement for which they think you should wear to some of Londons most popular events. From top left, Powders for the Ascot, Florals for Chelsea, Grunge for Bestival, Citrus for Carnival and Sports Luxe for Wimbledon. If you haven't seen the windows yet pop down and have a look their absolutely amaz!!
"The Arab Spring" One of my fave designers Jeremy Scott has teamed up with the iconic brand New Era to create an eclectic mix of snapbacks. The 6 piece collection made up of Faux croc, ostrich, snake skin also canvas and leather will be his own touch to the brands classic 59FIFTY and 9FIFTY silhouettes. The hats were first seen being worn by his models as the walked down the catwalk at his S/S13 show last year in New York. The headwear collection will be available from May 20 at these store & online Opening Ceremony, Selfridges, colette, The Good Will Out and select New Era flagship. (So excited)
SELFRIDGES&co new window concept. āSelfridges says:ā With summer fast approaching or so I hope. The festivals are gearing up and are ready for action. Ladies are on a hunt for that killer heels and the most flamboyant hat for The Ascot. . So for every single window Selfridges āsaysā you should wear or do or beā¦ If you donāt get it pop down and have a look for yourself. They just keep getting better and better. Keep your eyes peepled for this weeks metro.
My recent trip to PARIS was absoultely amazing. I stayed in the Champs Elysees. I loved everything about the city and would defo go back again and again.

A shoot I assisted with. The model is wearing head to toe in Alexander McQueen from the A/W12 collection. Sarah Burton (creative director) stated that the collection was inspired by Fungi mushrooms and the beauty of nature. This outfit weighed tons, but looked amazing once we got it on the model.

Christian Louboutin Fashion Nights out Party at their store on Mount Street. There was a tarot lady, Louboutin tattooist (not real of course) and loads of cocktails. Had an amazing night.

āAll in the detailā this scheme was based around mixing prints, patterns, cuts and fabrics together. We had jars of buttons, wool etc dotted around the store. If youāve been to the oasis in Islington you can only imagine how amazing it looked in our oversized windows.

This was taken on my first day of my intern at Selfridges over seeing the online team (E-commerce stylists) 3 weeks later I became a Freelance Stylist. I thank god and ask him to bless me and guide me on this journey to success.
āLondon love letterā Last year was an amazing year for London. We were all blessed to see the Olympics hit London. We at oasis thought we would dedicate our windows in honour. Illustrator Lizzie Prestt sketched these amazing backdrops of every land mark in London. As the Olympics touched on abit of history, to keep within the theme of British heritage and culture we used bowler hats and gentlemen umbrellas as props. This was by far my best window scheme Iāve ever installed and styled. I was lucky enough to keep the backdrops.

āPrints and the peaā My very first window I did at the Oasis Store in Islington. The whole concept was based on the fairytale story āThe princess and the Peaā which inspired the concept and scheme for finding that perfect print. As we know bold prints was a huge trend for S/S11 and has now today become a major fashion trend.
