Future of NLP training in India
Future of NLP training in India
If you are considering to attend an NLP training program, you might want to also have a read about the future of NLP training in India.
Before we move into the NLP training in India, and future of NLP training in India, we have to back track and discuss the history of NLP a bit, especially what happened in the NLP world during 80s, and early 90s. There were issues around trademark and copyright of NLP, eventually those got sorted, but it left NLP World fragmented, and eventually many good NLP trainers who also happened to be the first lot of NLP trainers from early days left NLP, and decided to not facilitate NLP training programs. This exit of some of the top NLP trainers of the world from the NLP world left a void in NLP, which NLP community has not been able to fill.
Also, a signification change that happened was the fragmentation of the NLP association, and emergence of different islands of NLP (different NLP associations). The issue with that is that we have way too many associations now, each claiming that they are the authentic NLP association, and they have to be listened to and they have to be joined. Well, this created a unique problem which is called the problem of plenty, and now we have so many associations that a new entrant into NLP is so confused about NLP, NLP trainer to learn NLP from, which trainer is the authentic trainer of NLP, which association is the authentic NLP association. This association issue also creates a lot of politics in the NLP world, and there are some NLP trainers who have benefitted by being part of these associations, not because they are good, but because they choose to be part of these associations, and bring more people into these associations. There are many cases where a lot of good NLP trainers from US and UK have left because of this politics.
So where does this leave future of NLP training in India?
India is precariously placed when it comes to NLP, because we never had great legacy trainers coming to India in 90s to train, however, a few NLP trainers have gone out of India to learn from co-founders, co-developers of NLP, and they bring authentic flavour of NLP in NLP, but considering the sheer size of India, there are more fraudsters in the industry than real NLP trainers, who actually know NLP. So if you are looking for the best NLP trainer in India, or a decent NLP training program, go with the trainer profile, rather than the website that different organizations have put up. Do a solid research about the trainer, their legacy, who trained them, who they are associated with, what experience they carry, what education background they have, and how many years of NLP experience they have.
Only time will tell what is the future of NLP training in India, as due to various global problems of NLP, the impact of that is faced in India as well. Also, the emergence of other self help topics: Emotional Intelligence, Neuroscience, Cognitive sciences in India is also a competitor to NLP.
NLP future is going to be blended in terms of class NLP Practitioner training, and its applications in coaching, counseling, leadership development, behavioral training etc.
The future of NLP training in India is in the hands of the best NLP trainers of India. They will continue to teach NLP, and future is secure. If they stop teaching NLP, then the future is going to be bleak. Hopefully, the NLP trainers in India, those who know NLP will continue to do good work, and contribute to spread the field.
