Today was just a bad day for you. You weren’t feeling nearly half as confident as usual, finding and picking out more and more flaws with yourself as the day went on. Nobody had said anything to you but it didn’t stop your mind from wandering into it’s own dark spiral of self-loathing. It had started after you were getting dressed in the morning, choosing a tank top and a loose, flowing maxi skirt to try to combat the warmer summer days coming in. You’d seen your reflection as you passed your mirror to leave your room for the day and you caught sight of the stretch marks on your arms. To anyone just passing by, they weren’t very noticeable, but you knew they were there and your brain was telling you that they were incredibly obvious and were standing out.
