Race in the USA
I think that in 2019 the topic of race is finally starting to be talked about enough. I do not think that it is comfortable quite yet but I do believe that it is getting there. As of late there are people that are not only coming out to speak on the subject more prominently but there is more and more coverage of the positive things that are provided to our country by all races. Recently we have seen things like Beyonce becoming a cultural icon for all women and especially of color from multiple generations but also the re-emergence of Tiger Woods at the top of the golf world. Other things such as the emergence of more and more African American players in the NHL and in the music industry are positives as well. These things are going to continue to happen thanks to social media and I can't wait to see what is next.
