The mental toll and exhaustion she must of felt splitting herself in all of these directions trying to make herself a ‘better’ partner thinking it was her fault everytime he pulled away so she worked twice as hard to be what he wanted her to be instead of being herself believing it would pay off in the end and they would have a twinkling fairytale ending

I have so much love and respect for women who are honest about their own loneliness but also find the good in it like when audrey hepburn said “I have to be alone very often.
