Missing Your Kiss || Harleen & we-are-agents-of-chaos
Joker watched her and smirked alittel at the lock of ahir, he love the look on her. Leaning in he was soon one behind hmim undoing that damn jacket, once his arms were free and she returned he smiled at her.
"Much better HArley," he whispered and stepped very close.
AS she asked how to make it up he moved fluidly scooping her up and setting her on the desk her stepped between ther legs and kissed her roughly not giving her an answer
Harleen was a little surprised by his actions, but slowly melted into the kiss. She wrapped her arms around his neck and smiled slightly. This was nice - even if it wasn't her Joker, who she knew was dead. It felt great to kiss someone that even looked like him. Harleen broke the kiss and brought him closer, so his forehead was touching hers. "So am I forgiven?" she asked, looking into his eyes.
A look into the future, perhaps? || thelittleharlequinn & no-longer-harleen
At the comments on her mental state, Harley fixed Harleen with a rather condescending stare. Heaving a sigh, she stood up, keeping the files with her for the moment before turning back to face Harleen and snatching the glasses off the woman’s face. Holding up a hand to stop any potential attempts to get them back, Harley turned back around to face the couch she’d previously sat on and placed the glasses and files on it. She pulled out her piggy tails, replacing them with one simple ponytail at the back and put on Harleen’s glasses.
Closing her eyes for a second, Harley took a deep breath, trying to take herself back to when she was still Harleen and, with a tiny little grin, she turned back around, walking towards Harleen. Once she began speaking, all traces of her accent were lost as she slipped into the role of professional young psychiatrist. “If it’s a case of acting, I can do so just fine. Besides, if I wanted to, I could become you and get myself out of here rather quickly." She stopped in front of Harleen, reaching out once more and tugging her hair out and, using one of her own spare lackies, put the doctor’s hair up in piggy tails. “I’m just as sane as you are, sweetheart."
The moment she took her glasses Harleen's brows furrowed together. Her curiosity got the better of her as she thought of the worst - keeping them for herself, breaking them, throwing them away. She needed those things, and she knew Harley knew that, for she once had glasses as well. Then she began to tug at her hair. Harleen went to cry out in pain but stopped herself, but cringing as she pulled harder.
It felt strange being without her glasses and her hair in a different fashion. Harleen almost felt...naked. Exposed. Abused. She looked up at Harley, a bit scared at the situation. Did this mean that she was going to be the patient? "I can't see" she said innocently. "What happens when you - or I, I suppose - get out? Where do I go?"

When Harley Met Momo || Harley and Mohinder
"Oh yes, I forgot about the cliche door openings and closings. Never heard of ghosts knocking on a front door and disappearing though, but there’s a first time for everything, I suppose. We can be trend-setting ghosts." The spirit world was one thing that Mohinder hadn’t looked into yet. And if it hadn’t been for Harley, he would have gotten to see it firsthand tonight.
"Alright, I have some frozen pasta meals in the freezer. They’re the ones in the bags; quite nice. I serve them when I’m too tired to cook properly. And yes, a gift," he attempted to say without laughing himself. “Speaking of gifts, there’s a scarf in there you can have as well." Might as well get rid of the pink shirt and the scarf at the same time. Kill two fashion mistakes with one stone.
Once they arrived and he had parked, he lead her inside. The doorman, who was sleeping on the job, woke up once he heard their footsteps. “It’s a bit late. Everything alright, Doc?"
Mohinder smiled and gave a casual wave. “Yes, everything is alright now. By the way, this is Harley. She’ll be staying with me for awhile, so please give her the red carpet treatment as well. She’s very special." So that this didn’t appear strange, he wrapped his arm around her shoulder and gave a sincere squeeze, hoping it didn’t appear as if they’d just met that night.
The doorman nodded with a grin. “You got it, Dr. Suresh."
Harleen nodded, having no clue what 'pasta bag' thingy he was talking about. Although, they must have been good if he would serve them to someone. She stayed mostly silent until they reached the house, where she simply said 'wow' with such amazement as if she were at the circus. A smile spread across her face. The grin stuck as she got out of the car and walked up with him; she was impressed he also had a doorman waiting for them.
As she was introduced, she gave a shy wave and said "Hi" with a polite smile. If she was going to be seeing him a lot, she might as well have gotten off on the right page. As soon as she walked through the door, she could tell he had lots of money - having high ceilings and broad rooms. The woman looked around in amazement. She looked over to Mohinder. "So, are you going to give me the three penny tour or what?" she asked with a giggle.
Missing Your Kiss || Harleen & we-are-agents-of-chaos
Joker watched those damn eyes ofher he loved so much no matter what was happening between them. He was now right in front of her trapping her ot he table behind her and him, seeing that almot puppy look his expression softened slightly then turned a little pisssed, “You did something bad Harley, he snapped.
"yes," he sighed getting the jacket a little looser and his fingers brusing agains the restraint onf it to get himself free. he lood back at her curious if she’d actually help him out with it.
Harleen, ever so smooth, casually took a hairpin out of her hair - causing a lock to fall right above her face. She took the pin and went behind him to pick the lock of the jacket. Being successful, she returned to her desk and returned the pin to her hair. She watched as the man in front of her slid free of the trap. "Better?" she asked.
Harleen began to draw little circles with her finger right above her knee. "I know puddin'" she admitted. Then she looked up at him. "How can I make it up to 'ya?"
A look into the future, perhaps? || thelittleharlequinn & no-longer-harleen
Upon seeing Harleen hold her hand out for Harley to shake, Harley held out a finger, requesting her to wait for just a moment before reaching into her hair and taking out a bobby pin. A few seconds later, Harley was tucking the pin away into her pocket and dropping the shackles she’d previously worn to the floor. She stood up, taking a quick stretch before flashing Harleen a grin and walking towards her. Upon reaching the doctor’s desk, Harley placed herself on the corner and took the proffered hand, giving it a rather firm shake.
Letting go of the other woman’s hand, Harley picked up the files that Harleen had previously been looking through, taking a peak through them herself. She was hit by a sudden case of deja vu as she looked at the file; the writing within it a perfect match for her very own writing. Yet another crazy little thing that Harley felt rather amused by. Hugging the file to her chest, she held it tight, claiming it as her own and showing no sign of giving it back. “So now that we got a deal, doc, what to we do? I don’t know about you, but this place cramps my style. I mean, I can help ya in here, but out there?" She gestured with one hand towards the one window in the office. “Out there I got a lot more resources to help ya succeed in this task of ours." Harley shrugged her shoulders. “But hey, it’s up to you, sugar. You are the doctor after all, I’m just the patient!" She flashed Harleen a wink, grinning at her as she swung her feet off the edge of the desk.
Harleen watched in pure amazement at Harley breaking out of her shackles. I can do that? she thought. Although, she smiled brightly when the woman shook her hand. It was just something she preferred to do when making deals, to get complete confirmation that this was actually going to happen. What had she gotten herself into? For split moment Harleen felt a ping of discouragement, but it was already too late. She was going to do this, for both Harley and herself.
Surprisingly, the woman was okay with Harley holding the files. After all, she would get them back before she left. It was like when a little kid takes your necklace just so they can hold it. Harleen pushed up her glasses. "I'm afraid I can't do that unless I list you as 'sane', Harley. And based on your studies and profile, you're nowhere near it". Was she really saying this to herself? Her future self. "I'm sure I can get you closer but you're going to have to improve your act if you ever want to get out"
//Hey guys. There's been lots of rain where I am, and everything is flooded. Streets, subways, homes. My basement is completely in water. So I'll be back when everything is straitened out. I'm sorry.
//So my brother has managed to piss me off more than I already am, so I'll be back tomorrow.

"What games? Is’s just happy t’ see youse, Harl!"
Harleen sighed. "Listen - can I ask ya a question kid?"
"If a bad guy is out of ya life - for good - should you be happy, or should you be sad?"
When Harley Met Momo || Harley and Mohinder
Fortunately for Harley, Mohinder didn’t pay attention to the news unless it had to do with scientific breakthroughs or the government attempting something that sounded shifty. The events he’d witnessed before were enough news to last him a lifetime. Although he might have heard of the Joker before, he dismissed it as a hoax used to keep the citizens in line. Because if they got out of line, the Batman would take care of them just as he did the Joker. It was a perfect ploy, in his mind.
When she hit her head, Mohinder flinched and stepped up to her to gently check the place, making sure it wasn’t bleeding. After combing back her hair with his fingers, he didn’t see any red. “Yes. Your own bathroom and your own bedroom across the hall from that bathroom." He grinned, glad that he was able to make her so happy. After fixing her hair back to how it was, at least the best he could, he set down the hood, making sure it clicked.
He laughed quietly at her joke before opening the passenger’s side door for her and moving around to the driver’s seat. “Fifty fifty, hm? Well at least if it does, you’ll be with me, right? We can hang out in the afterlife and play pranks on people such as moving small items around. I hear that is a popular ghost past time. What do you say?" The car cranked without incident though, and he gave her a bright smile before taking off. “Thank you again. We should be home in about ten minutes. What would you like to eat once we arrive? I can be cooking while you have your shower. Oh, I suppose you’ll have to wear my clothing until I can take you shopping. But I think there is a pink shirt in my closet… It was a gift." Well it was.
Harleen smiled at the thought of her own bedroom and bathroom. Even with the Joker, she didn't have that kind of care. She usually slept alone or with him, neither as enjoyable as they sound. Her smile only became brighter when he opened the door for her. He was obviously a polite gentleman, something she wasn't used to but still loved. Although his actions sweet, Harley still felt suspicious about the whole thing. A guy she met on the street, asking her to fix his car, asking her to live with him, and opening doors? He certainly was a character.
Harley laughed. She always loved people who could take a joke. "Yes. Being a ghost with you sounds like a great way to live" she laughed along with him. "We can move small objects and close open doors and ring the doorbell and run away". The woman looked over at him. "Uhm.....I don't know" she said. "Maybe something really simple you know, so you don't have to bust your ass for me". Harley gave him a look. "A gift huh?" she laughed, obviously teasing.
Missing Your Kiss || Harleen & we-are-agents-of-chaos
He watched her transform from the fake doctor to Harley, his Harley, gods he wanted out of that straight jacket. To make her remember who was in charge between them,for now she was. While she change her tone and calle dhim by his old name he growle,d ‘HArley, " he stepped closer. When she started to change and such staring at him in that sedutive manor, “HArley, " he repeated.
He steppe donce again closer as she spoke his hands were managing a little to slip out, “Don’t," he whispered and galred slightly, “I have missed you too," he told her then sighed, “Im upset about you leaving me to the cops,"
Despite his growling and aggressive attitude, Harleen still kept that innocent look in her eyes and the manipulative smile of her face. Her plan was to get her to trust him again - if he even trusted her when they were together. You could say she was giving him the puppy dog face, but to her it was a caring look. "I know love - I don't know what came over me".
"Would you like some help with that?" she asked, noticing his struggle with the straight jacket. Harleen wasn't just here to apologize to him, she had questions that needed answers. Again, this was a mission of Harleen's.
A look into the future, perhaps? || thelittleharlequinn & no-longer-harleen
Harley’s expression was one of absolute disbelief. Upon listening to Harleen’s ideas, Harley was torn between laughing in her face and mocking her naivety, or going along with it simply for the amusement factor. The girl had been treating the Joker for a fair amount of time, and yet she still believed she could change him? The only way Harley could possibly explain how she felt towards Harleen’s ideas was by comparing it to how those Mother’s on TV responded to their young child when they suggested something ridiculous. Truly, the only thing she could think was, oh sweetie. On one hand, laughing in the doctor’s face could either snap her out of her delusions, or have her turn against Harley completely, whereas on the other hand, if she went along with it she could gain her trust completely and have some fun while she was at it. Harley was torn.
Clearing her throat, Harley settled for a response that she felt landed in the middle of her options. “Can I tell ya a quick story, kid? When I was in your position, treatin’ Mistah J, he told me the exact same things and I believed him. I realized after we got outta here that he lied the entire time to get sympathy from me and that is exactly what he’s doin’ to ya now. Ya do realize that, don’tcha? I’m guessin’ he’s already told ya the circus story; I found out that one was a lie from Bats when he told me all of the other versions J has." Shrugging her shoulders, Harley sent a sympathetic expression Harleen’s way. “I mean, good on ya for tryin’ and all, but I can’t see it workin’. But hey, if ya want, I’ll try it out because if it does work? It could work out for the both of us. So… I’m in, hon." It was a struggle, but Harley managed to keep a straight face whilst she cackled madly on the inside. This could be rather… amusing.
Harleen nodded at Harley and pushed back her glasses as she 'told her story'. Although, her face dropped slightly when she started talking. It was...all a lie? she thought in disbelief. It took a while for that information to sink in with Harleen. She thought that her patient actually had some sort of feeling for her. She thought that maybe he would change for her, that he would no longer be a criminal if she had helped him by being there for him....what a crazy thought, now that she realized it. The fact someone would change for her. That was a insane desire Harleen had. Nobody wold do that without convincing.
The woman looked up at Harley. She was determined to make this work. For both herself, but also the woman in front of her. She had to. She didn't want to go through all that, and she certainly didn't want Harley to go through it. Harleen cracked a small smile and stuck out her hand for Harley to shake. She could tell this would be the start of a beautiful friendship.
When Harley Met Momo || Harley and Mohinder
Hmm, Harley Quinn? That was a pretty neat sounding name, kind of like an alias for a super hero or something, he absently thought. The only nicknames he’d ever received were things like Fight Club and Punching Bag. At her guess that he was loaded, he modestly shook his head. “I’m a professor at a university, so I do alright, I suppose. Since I do not go out much, I knew I wanted a nice apartment with all the extras to come home to after work. I hope you like it as much as I do." Luckily he’d straightened up the place the day before, so it should be clean and organized for her.
She seemed amazed with his car, which hopefully helped her to feel more at ease about going home with a stranger since the car was evidence of his money situation, which in turn was evidence that he was telling the truth about the penthouse. Not that most people analyzed situations like Mohinder did though. When she looked into his eyes, he quirked a brow and smiled nervously, unsure of what she was about to do… Oh, she needed the keys. Of course. Sneaky. Adorable, but sneaky.
While she was listening to the car, Mohinder watched the motor, trying to appear as though he knew what he was looking for that could have been wrong. At her diagnosis, he nodded before following her eyes down to his waist. “Of course. What a genius idea - trade one belt for another. I knew you could do it," he said as he slid his belt off and handed it to her. If this worked, soon they’d be home safe and he could give her a little tour of his place before showing her her room and bathroom. “I suppose once we arrive at my place, you’d like to take a hot shower or bath? You’ll have your very own bathroom to do that in."
A professor? she thought. How intriguing. At least now she knew he was an intelligent man, being educated and all. Harleen thought about telling him how she used to be a psychiatrist at Arkham, but decided not to. She would save if for later if he asked. Although, she was quite surprised he didn't recognize her name after she told him. Usually Harley was in the news with the Joker all the time, so at the mere mention of her name they would run away or call the police. But this man didn't run, he didn't scream, he didn't do anything. Perhaps he didn't know her criminal side, or perhaps, he accepted her criminal side. Why he would be okay with a criminal in his house she would never understand.
Harleen smiled up at Mohinder as he did what she had asked him to do. The woman took his belt and replaced it with the car's belt as she spoke. "I haven't been called genius in what seems like forever" she laughed. As soon as he mentioned having her own bathroom, she hit her head on the top of the car by accident. Rubbing it slightly, she looked up at him. "Really? My very own bathroom?" she asked. "Wow that sounds amazing". She laughed again. "Uhm...the car's fixed. Pretty sure. There's a 50/50 chance it'll blow up as soon as you turn the ignition" Harleen teased. She wanted to see if the man could take a joke.
Missing Your Kiss || Harleen & we-are-agents-of-chaos
Joker was taken in fairly fast by the police. not being as smooth as he was due to lack of thinking they cornered him a few blocks down. He was too busy thinig about Harley to really care. he missed her, a lot more then he ever thought he would feel towards her, it was driving him mad. On the drive back towards Arkhim he was thinning about eh way she had been, she truly believed he was dead, he should have been and some days wishe dhe was.
Getting to the asylum he was forced to remove dthe makeup and change out fohis old tux into the white srubs, for him though they decided a staright jacket would be a proper fit for him. It was a smart thing to do but also not the best for him, he had gotten out of them before and could easily do it again. Lying ont he floor of his cell he was staring out the small window thining of his options.
When he heard a few pairs of feet one security officer and a nurse were approaching his cell he stood fast and presse dhis back to the wall. The officer entered firest and explained he was ordered down to some girl named Sarah’s room, he had never seen her befre he was curious why he would be now, what did she do in the asylum.
Once they reache dte office he found himself staring at HArley he was silent when they shoved him into the room the officer spoke, “I will be just outside the door Sarah,’ he clsed the door behind him after sititng joker down.\
"HArley, he hissed once they were alone
"Alright" Harleen said in the accent of Sarah. As soon as they were alone, the girl leaned on the back of her hands and crossed her legs like a pinup model. Harleen gave a sweet smile to the man in front of her, batting her eyelashes innocently. "Puddin'" she said like she used to. This man made her the woman she used to be. His face, body, smile - made her do crazy things even though she didn't want to. The woman soon unbuttoned her doctor's coat, revealing her skimpy red tank and black shorts.
"I missed ya lots" she said. "You're not mad at me....are ya?". Harleen took off Sarah's glasses and threw them aside. "'cause I ain't mad at you...I was jus' scared that's all". The woman rocked her foot back and forth innocently while looking at him. Even without the makeup he still looked like her Joker.
