“Was it that obvious?” He chuckled slightly before sighing. “I did a lot of bad things for the Diamonds. Things no gem should ever be forced to do…now that everything’s over, I don’t even have purpose, y’know?” He couldn’t just tell this gem everything. It would probably scare her, or in the very least, have trust lost in the only gem he knew.
Lapis looked away from the gem, she knew he wasn’t being completely honest with her. She understood why though, you don’t tell a random person you just met everything about you. Also he used to work under blue diamonds authority, and he may still look up to her. She sighed, she got how he felt about not having a purpose. She used to feel like that as well. She gave the gem a small smile, “Don’t feel like you don’t have a purpose…Because you do…”
Honestly, Dan just wanted to curl up back into the box he was trapped in for all those years. So much change and difference and pain. It was almost too much to handle. Still, the other’s words of comfort made him feel a bit safer. Like he wasn’t totally alone. He looked to her, eyes a bit wide. “What do you mean?”
Lapis face did not change from the question the other gem had asked her. She wasn’t very keen on explaining herself to this gem, since he hasn’t explained much to her. She shrugged her shoulders, “Don’t worry about it....Just know you are important” She said kindly, with the smallest of smiles.
