"Well, well, well. What have we here a little warlock trying to summon me? Or was that just an accident in a mispronunciation in your casting kid? I mean either way-" Perthmail took a heavy sip of his martini, "Answer me quickly you're interrupting my vacation on sandy shores."
āYou bitch! How dare you! How fucking dare you--āĀ Abelās blood dripped into the summoning circle of another witch-- the gash on their forearm, caused by the fuming woman a few feet in front of them, dripping across the chalk-drawn sigils she had worked so hard to make on the asphalt of an abandoned parking garageās second floor.Ā
Ā She had been so busy trying to fight them, she hadnāt realized that their only goal was to intercept her summoning-- her side of thing... they had not wanted to find out what she would have done if she had completed the ritual.
Abel smirked at the witch, hand raised to keep the barrier spell between the two of them going as she hurled one after another furious attack spells at them--
Until something spoke behind them. The shock had their barrier dropping slightly, sending them skidding back-- their shoes scrapping away the edge of the circle. Dark hues flicked over their shoulder,Ā mouth opening in mild shock-- Oh fuck them.
āYou crazy fucker! A demon!?ā They shouted over the crackling magic slamming against their thinning barrier. That crazy witch-- summoning demons was frowned upon even by the higher up mages of either warring side, and she just--
āI apologize for your summoning, sir! It wasnāt--ā
Ā The opposing witch practically screamed in anger as she hurled a strong spell against their barrier, shattering it like glass and throwing them back on their ass a foot or so back.
āI summoned you-- I made the circle! You answer to me!ā
