New rule, non muslims can’t say the word jihad. Until you stop conflating a word that means personal struggle with faith and temptation with terrorism youre just not allowed to say it.
I’m not a Muslim but I just thought I would reblog this because I think it’s definitely worth listening to.
It’s totally okay for non muslims to reblog this, and i encourage it. Im just glad you’re listening.
Oh god, finally someone said it. Every time I see words like “jihadist” I want to scream, but I’m not Muslim, so I wasn’t sure I should say anything.
Jihad means struggle. It doesn’t mean holy war or anything like it. In fact, there is no word in Islam for holy war, because the nature of Islam does not leave room for holy war. Islam has a juridical system, not a Pope who can just say “Go wage holy war.” Conflating the personal nature of jihad with violence is so very gross and it needs to stop. Period.
Actually, there’s another word non-muslims in the media shouldn’t use:
Allahu Akbar. It’s not a statement of terrorism. It means “god is great”. It’s something we say to praise our lord. It’s what we say when we pray. It’s not a statement of terrorism. Allahu Akbar doesn’t mean terrorism stop using it as one
Lol yall cute
Lars is trans ok I mean look at his mom’s expression when she realizes she called him laramie
She clearly feels terrible about it, her voice even cracks a little. If Lars was just a nickname she wouldn’t feel so bad about messing it up.
Conclusion: TRANS LARS TRANS LARS
Laramie is a unisex name but from what I gather, is more common for girls so yeah I’m on this trai
LARS IS TRANS!!! LARS IS NOT CIS!!!!
Who actually gives a fuck? If the fact that he's trans means so much to you then that proves your not interested in his character, and more interested with something he had no choice in.

They literally just crossed misogyny, misandry and got feminism. I don't think they know how Venn diagrams work.
This is my final project for my graphics class. Heavily taken from this Buzzfeed video and these two articles.
I don’t watch alot of LGBT live-action movies and TV so I just found out about the “bury your gays” trope because of what happened in the 100. I’m quite shocked this trope has been a thing for a long time.
LGBT fans deserve better than this kind of treatment.
and they still think we should appreciate just being represented…
It's almost as if white heterosexuals are the majority In the usa. As far as the trope goes your forgetting correlation does not equal causation.
Feminists, Please Stop Dismissing Me
When I bring up an argument against feminism I always get the same shit, “feminism is about equality”, “your sexist”, and, “your racist”. These are just a few of many ways modern feminists dismiss arguments and derail a debate.
Is Zootopia Sexist?
Just from watching the trailers alone, you see the main character(?) Judy Hopps.
A female bunny.
Bunnies aren’t typically known for their huge size or strength.
Why would they purposely depict a woman being something as weak and small as a bunny?
Then we have Nick Wilde. A sneaky, cynical, laid-back fox.
Who is of course a man.
Is Disney purposely reinforcing these stereotypes that women are weak and small and always cheery/upbeat/enthusiastic creatures, while men are also these much larger, sneaky, chill, laid-back kind of creatures?
Why does Judy have to a small bunny while Nick is a much larger fox. By doing this they are implying women are always smaller than men and men are always taller/stronger than women.
Why couldn’t they have had Judy be a large Rhino who still doesn’t get any respect from her fellow male co-workers? Just because a woman may be taller/stronger than a man doesn’t mean she doesn’t face the same problems smaller sized women have to deal with.
And why does Nick have to be the stereotypical ‘’no heart/seems cold and uncaring’’ personality. Why can’t Nick be out right kind, caring and compassionate from the very beginning? Who is first in line to help Judy on her mission?
I’ll tell you why. Because Disney like’s reinforcing stereotypes. Even in CGI anthropomorphic taking animals.
(Also- in one particular scene Nick outright says ‘’You bunnies.. so emotional.’’ to Judy. Implying that women are always emotional and crying all the time. That’s out right sexist!)
Are. You. Kidding. Me. *facepalm* Wow, a female character is depicted as small. Oh the horror! Did you even sit through the entire movie before walking out with your fingers in your ears. Not only did Officer Hopps defy the societal norms by working hard to become the first bunny cop, she was a strong, independent character who didn’t even need a romantic interest to make her character more relatable like most movies do. If she was, as you proposed, a big strong character like a Rhino, what would be the whole point of the plot existing? The main character needs a challenge, something they need to overcome. If she were big and strong, that would be a REALLY boring movie because she wouldn’t have to overcome anything to reach her goal. This is storytelling 101. Sexist? You probably don’t even know how to properly identify sexism, seeing that you are a feminist (feminism is infested with misandry and sexism, but you probably don’t even see it). Smh, Officer Hopps is a model female character, and I’m so sorry you can’t see that.
Feminists, Please Stop
Feminists always start with their conclusion and use falty statistics and "evidence" to back up their preconceived notions. Take for instance the wage gap. Feminists already believe society is sexist, so when they view something like the wage Gap through their ideological lens, they misinterpreted to mean something that it is not.

when guys objectify women and expect them to send nudes

@onyon–reng 😘
@useless-mork why
@pseudonymoustwin why not 😘
Fun fact: the Latin word ‘pusillanimous' translates to “lacking in courage; timid.” So when people tell you don’t be a pussy, they aren’t actually saying don’t be a woman’s vagina but don’t be a coward. The more you know.
if the fine bros played a taylor swift song in their video and she reacted to it who would win in court
Two sides of the same coin.
I think it's obvious
A startling new documentary, “Trapped,” addresses TRAP laws—Targeted Regulation of Abortion Providers—and their impact on abortion providers in the South.
We spoke with Dawn Porter, the director of the film; Dr. Willie Parker of Jackson Women’s Health, the last abortion clinic in Mississippi; and June Ayers, owner and director of Reproductive Health Services in Montgomery, Alabama.
