Patreon art. The prompt was for a sort of Master and Margarita/Lackadaisy crossover, with Mordecai as a Behemoth stand-in (vaguely). “Manuscripts don’t burn,” is, of course, from Bulgakov’s text.

It’s finally here.
After years since SDM had this scene…
…we finally have HD in-depth details on the best vending machine ever, containing:
1. Buns on a pedestal
2. Half a loaf of bread
3. An entire pecan pie
4. An origami pinecone
5. The king’s glasses from Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town
6. An entire basket of fruit
7. A whole uncut pineapple
8. A stack of 5 white bread slices
9. An entire turkey
10. A pizza
11. Yet another pizza
12. 1.4 wheels of cheese
13. Foreground sandwich
14. Strawberry cake
15. A wedding cake smothered with cheese
All credit to my sister on the last one… I was at a loss until she said “cheese-dripped wedding cake, or… three-layer beefaroni.”
wait a minute when did this get 31,000 notes
this is a development

Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles | The Purple Jacket The nerve of that guy!
When Jonas’ mother drops him at his dad’s village, it always makes the young orc-elf happy. Weirdly enough, the orcs of the village appreciate him a lot. His dad is super proud of his intelligent little son.
Oh no. Jonas became a criminal boy.
Bringing back the comic about Jonas and his papa.

A request on Twitter. The trailer voice was honestly already perfect though.
Thinking hurts! (I’m still going to do it.)
First, this story is more an analysis of my current artistic predicament than one of my usual articles. Still, maybe you will find it useful for comparing with your creative mindset. Let me tell you two stories to illustrate what I have been thinking about lately.
When I was still in primary school, I thought a lot when I was drawing. I did not perceive my sketches as making “Art,” but more as tools to analyze the world surrounding me. I would design things like furniture, machines, pipes (I loved pipes for some reason), or robots while thinking about how they were made, used, and what functionality they had. Then, one day, feeling particularly confident, I challenged a classmate to a robot-drawing battle. I lost, of course, to a drawing of a cool, huge robot with lots of squiggly details.

A new project comes! I tried to imagine and paint a cute Japanese opticians store as a part of this year’s goal to learn how to create things not based on direct references. Watch the video below for more back-story and to see the whole making-of process! ↓
