I had such a blast directing this film with an amazingly talented team. We were so excited to celebrate the original feature, reconnect with our beloved characters, and expand what this world could be through a new art style inspired by vintage horror movie posters! It is written by Chris Butler and starring Anna Kendrick & Finn Wolfhard.

Hi! I’m excited to share that I directed Paranorman short called “The Thrifting”! It will be screened this Halloween, alongside with the original feature theatrical re-release!

From Laika, in collaboration with Passion Paris, it is written by Chris Butler and starring Anna Kendrick & Finn Wolfhard - it was an absolute dream to make. I had the chance to work with an incredibly talented team, and I can’t wait for you all to discover it.

The beautiful poster was created by the amazing Woonyoung Jung!

Meet Prue McKeel (and the General) from Wildwood! I had the pleasure of designing these characters back in early 2020. The team at Laika has poured their hearts into this movie, and as you can see, it’s shaping up to be absolutely stunning! I’ve been responsible for establishing the overall look of the characters and overseeing the entire design process, from the initial sketches to their final appearance on screen. I couldn’t be happier with how these characters turned out. Check out the title reveal to see even more!
