De Corde Atlas v2.0
De Corde Atlas v1.0-1.1 served as the capitol of the Galactic Hub during the era of the previous update, Atlas Rises.
The restored & renovated version of the base had to account for a problem which most Atlas Rises-era bases didn’t have to worry about when restoring their base: De Corde Atlas was built on a rare uneven-terrain site, but could only be restored at flat-terrain sites.
So, I replaced a mountain with a tower which, I think, still manages to be as welcoming and comfortable as a small log cabin. Features include teleporter, appearance modifier, 6 large refiners (thanks to u/the_toastkid), trade terminal, two landing pads, Boris the Robot, beautiful views, and glitch-building techniques on display, some of which are no longer possible in No Man’s Sky.
The former-pool room and upper tower were not perfectly aligned, so building this was a serious challenge at times and some of the “seams” are still visible, but I love the end result and am going to spend plenty of time here.
Please stop by and leave a Comm Station, although note that base servers have been extremely unreliable so the base may not show on the first, second, or third try: 042F:0078:0D55:0077

From Kojima Productions to Kojima System...
Weird random name generation or actual nod to Hideo Kojima ? I don’t know, but I had a good laugh while reading this report, especially seeing we had recovered two huge glowing balls from that planet !
