It’s funny how quickly feelings change.

It is most evident when you are doing your monthly reflection and realize that so much has been felt over the past month. It’s as if 1 month is too long; even 1 week too. It’s because a feeling only takes an instant. As John Green put perfectly in “The Fault in Our Stars”, it feels like falling asleep; slowly, then all at once. If so, then even 1 day could be too long - because all you need is that split second of an instant, when you feel all at once.

Berkeley is blue: CNY visit,Feb 2018

impromptu trip to the second best public uni in the US (:p) added more meaningful memories to my exchange euphoria here. I got to meet more friends (through Joy obviously), visit relatives (warmed my heart so much <3), tried hot cookie, tried mochi waffle, set foot in Albu’s “clean” apartment, running away from sketchy people, pretending to sleep in sketchy bart, doing last minute “touch up” on hair and makeup, sleeping in creepy airbnb, discuss lots and lots of stuff, and also, obviusly ranting while throwing mini basketball.

Grateful for the relatives that filled the hollow space of missing CNY back home, blessed with friends who have shown me how to be real and how to have a real friendship.

Lastly, shout out to Albu, thanks for hosting us. I’m a little less disappointed at you now hahaha.

It took me almost a year to really kick this thing off. The key is in planning, which I learned the hard way. Hopefully it will run more consistently this time round :)

I have come up with 13 topics, not all contains significant insights, but all sure have the artsy tone that I want to keep up through out this entire blog. After all, that is why I created this blog. So, for the next 13 weeks, enjoy what I have experienced, my random thoughts and hypotheses, and beautiful moments that I hold dear.

COMING SOON (1/3/2017)

i guess new year only come for me on the third month, but it’s better late than never.

Goals:

1. at least one blog entry per week 

2. manage to synchronise all social media platforms (fb, tumblr, twitter, insta)

3. hopefully get recognised or acknowledged (and not judged)

4. improve my writing skill that has been deteriorating exponentially, and learn new writing skill in scientific way

5. channel my inner artsy persona, instead of suppressing it

What to expect:

- some writeup that sounds pretty legit to the trivial, whiny ones (you have been warned!)

- my randomness and absurd ambition to put my content out there in many aspects and forms

- overdosage of me muahaha and some pretty aesthetic too (but I really want to use this blog filled with mostly my content, so for cool reblogged stuff go follow yummynasibryani)

well yeah, that’s it, I can’t wait to kick off soon!
